OK, Gotta chime in hear, the Shadow works well too, so it seems to me, that nay of the newer high quality amps shine with JH13, says alot about the phones. I think Jamato liked this combo too, but the new FOTM may be the balanced Protector. It is all good.

Just want to ask, is it safe to connect JH13 to beasts like Eddi curent balancing act and RSA B-52? They should be avalible for listen on local audio exhibition and I would be verry happy to tried them with my JH13.

In my experience, it's perfectly safe to hook them up to any headphone amp. Just make sure the volume's at the minimum when you plug them in so you don't blow out your eardrums.
