i suggest you go buy 8'' screen protectors, and cut it into the shape of the ES7 and place it over the mirror finish. It would suck to have these beautiful headphones scratched!

Hey guys, wondering if any of you have come across the ES7s in white, but costing as much as the black ones? I'm able to find the black pair for sub-$100 prices, but the white ones are almost always listed at the ridiculous retail prices.

The fairly-priced listings on Amazon, and eBay especially, look somewhat shady, and I know this model was popular for rip-offs. The J&R website still has a wonderful $89 price tag, but only for the black phones. Anyone know of a reputable place I can grab the white ones for around the same price? Maybe I just haven't looked hard enough.

Understandably not as popular... they look pretty good in black. I just think the white will go nicely with my MacBook.

After listening to all my other cans, I more and more appreciate how good the ES7's are. Not as good surely, but not that bad either. And for

how they look (after you bend them to conform to your head) you just can't do better. If they hurt, then put them around a bunch of DVD cases

until they lighten up. If these HAD TO BE my only cans (now knowing what all the others I have sound like) I would be satisfied. Go for it!

just a question:

what would be a good amp for the ES7 when partnered with an ipt4? music played are alternative, rock, acoustics.
