Portable amp for high end ultrasones?

iBasso P3 Heron is another very good choice for a portable amp. It can use a variety of opamps in LR/Buffers/Ground.

It can be used with AAA cells or AC adapter.

The iQube.

Expensive, but hands-down the best I've heard. Unfortunate case design though (for battery removal).

No I definitely need something that will go in my pocket nicely. I still don't quite like the idea of a headphone rig that is not portable, so no lisa yet. (Carrying around a tote bag to hold a amp that I spent charging for 12 hours ain't quite my idea of portable) I also would prefer internal batteries over AA/AAAs and the sort.

Right now I'm leaning for the minibox, but as I mentioned earlier I won't be buying for a while, so more time for you to make suggestions. I'd like to stay around the 200-250 USD price point.

Also like I said earlier, if there is a nice big comparison on the sounds of opamps and/or tubes, I'd like to read it.

EDIT: Oh, ibasso D10 is a close second.

Dead thread again.

Well I'll hinge it on something simple then; including swapping opamps, what is the maximum output power of the E+ and D10? Also, what kind of sound does it have with that opamp.

I also use the Predator with my HFI-780's, they make for a near unbeatable combination, especially when you're on the go.
