Ooh, you're going to enjoy that.

Does UPS count? I just unboxed and fired up a Benchmark DAC1 USB. And may I just say ...

Ye Gods and Little Fishes! This thing is amazing.

Tyll, I love ya man, but I don't regret putting my Ultra Micro stack on the bay to pay for this. Not even for a second. Listening to Ades' "The Tempest" on the B'mark and a pair of Grado RS-2s is like being in the tenth row at the Met.

Next up, a 96/24 rip of "Blues and the Abstract Truth" (from heavy vinyl) with my UE Triple-Fi's. It's going to be an enjoyable weekend, I predict.

My hard-drive back from Seagate where it was being repaired.

Nobody was here to sign for it, so I rang up UPS and talked to a horrible man who was very unhelpful. I asked whether I could go to somewhere to pick it up from them and he said I couldn't. Eventually I got him to redirect it to my mums work address.

A few hours later, I got a phonecall from a very helpful lady from UPS asking whether I want it redelivered or to a different address or whether I wanted to go pick it up.

Not much communication going on at UPS New Zealand headquarters it seems.

Liking them a lot so far, pretty damn bassy.
