What should i get?

am wondering what i should order, just have to make the decision, so i can pull the trigger for this purchase..

1. Denon AH-D5000 and Head-Direct EF1
or
2. Denon AH-D7000 and Head-Direct EF1

i know the D7000 combo will sound better, but is the difference in sound quality worth the extra $200?

If you have the money, go for the d7000. Save yourself some money down the road when upgraditis hits from going d5000 --> d7000.

Listen to both. Bigger number and bigger price does not always equal better. For example, its hard to find a review where the listener prefers the AD1000 over the AD900. I have never read one.

Good luck, find a place with a good return policy. Also buy from an authorized dealer, normally wouldn't care, but Denon have made it obvious that you won't get the service you deserve unless purchased from one.
