I just ordered the Phonak Audeo Perfect Bass with a set of extra green filters yesterday. I can't wait. It's my first serious earphone purchase.

I'll let you know how it goes when I get it.

Hi guys,

I'm seriously considering buying the PFEs, but I'm wondering if there is a significant difference between the PFEs and the PFE112 Revision II's. Would someone please be able to enlighten me on the subject? Thanks.

If you're talking the second version, (marked Rev. 1 on the packaging, with the original PFE being theoretically ''Rev. 0") it was introduced to alleviate the fractures caused in the body of the original PFE due to the composition of the plastic, as well as to improve the cable. No sound change was introduced. My apologies if this information is not useful and there is a new 3rd revision (which would say Rev. 2 on the packaging) that I have missed by not following the threads.

I finally got my Phonak Audeo Perfect Bass Earphone as a birthday present to myself & was extremely pleased. The sound was so clear & pure. My previous headphones were the Sennheiser PX100, Koss Portapro & Audio Technica CK7. This Perfect Bass was almost better in everyway than the other headphones/earphones. I was also surprised how small & light they are. The fit is excellent & you don't feel like you have an earphone on. Also the all black color is extremely nice looking. Finally this earphone looks much better in person than it does in pics.

Hey Ethan,

Thanks for your reply. That could be it, but specifically I'm wondering whether these earphones: http://www.amazon.com/Audeo-Perfect-Fit-Earphones-White/dp/B001R1PUWO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1289134936&sr=1-2

are the same as these:http://www.amazon.com/Audeo-Phonak-PFE112-Revision-Earphones/dp/B001R1KDRG/ref=pd_cp_e_1

The first listing of the "Audeo Perfect Fit Earphones - White" has only one negative review and nothing that I can see that specifies what version of the PFE it is. The second listing of the "Audeo Perfect Fit PFE112 Revision II Earphones" has several positive reviews, but it's sold by a secondary vendor that doesn't appear to be "fulfilled by amazon" (along with the protection that such an item offers).

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just to be clear since this is a bit mystified:

"Fulfilled by Amazon" means the item is stored in an Amazon warehouse and can be shipped out at moment notice. It saves the seller from separate storage space and individual shipping time as Amazon warehouse is much more streamline, well managed and fast on shipping. It does not come with any more protection than seller who store and ship their own items. Whatever the seller stores in Amazon warehouse is not a responsibility of Amazon, nor is Amazon responsible for the seller's responsibility to provide the correct info for its product, customer service or any aftersale service.

It is just a glorified way for Amazon to say: This seller uses my warehouse and shipping service.

Thanks again, guys. Good to know it's the same vendor. Good eye. Haha. I guess the main benefit of FBA then is that you qualify for free super saver shipping. Just to be clear, those two links show the same earphones then?

Can anyone comapare Audeos to ATH-M50?
And if you have such, how is the isolation compared to M9?
Thanks in advance!

Not sure what rev2 fixed, but I'll drop an email to my Phonak contact and hopefully find out what it is all about. BTW, rev2 comes out on September 2010.

Are you sure it's not the Phonak Audeo Perfect Bass earphones that are the rev2?

It's now November 19, 2010.
