are all here under the age of 13???

I got these after extensive online research and it all seemed good, i was torn between these and the senn px100's and i plumbed for these based on various reviews/opinions readily available with a google!!

Have i been missing SO much bass thru my other 'phones and speakers that i just don't realise...? Maybe...but if so then i am not as keen on the music i thought i liked!!! (yes...sarcasm...)

These phones are for the ipod generation who listen to.....i'm sorry, but lets face it....CRAP!

I want to listen to pink floyd, and deep purple, and dio, and thin lizzy, and zepplin....and i dont want the bass drowning all the other instruments.....


If anyones interested i have some porta pro's for sale.....

i can only deduce from the lack of responses that yes, most here ARE under the age of 13 and are now in bed and sleeping like the babies they are!!! May you dream of bass and all it brings to your world!!! I will now carry on decorating whilst not listening to the porta pros i bought........

I would imagine you would find the PX100s too bassy also. I haven't listened to the Portapros though but I understand they are similar in that area. Funnily enough I was considering out of bored idle curiosity buying these yesterday, as something different and cheap to listen to. I feel better now though

Well, when you posted most of us adults in the USA were still at work. For the record, I'm 2 score plus 13 and not a bass-head and I love my portapros.
I hope you'll find them a home where they will be appreciated.

Yeah, Maybe you are the baby since you have time to post and the rest of us have to wait till we are off of work. Baby pants. lol

Hey, I like the porta pros and think they are great you need to let them burn in and then get a good source, not something that put out crap. Get a good iRiver H120 or H140 and then an amp and then. . . Baby head.

but I do agree a lot of kids and younger people listen to very distasteful music that sometimes is even offensive

I am 35 and I love my KCS75 they only sound really good with a good source, which by the sounds of your whining; you dont have. and your sweeping statements/generalizations make you the baby I'm afraid

not quite 13, and not quite35 smack dab in between. And I enjoy everything from trance to jazz fuzion and everything in between, except rap -just never got into it. And I love my ksc75's, they sound great with the rock albums I throw at them (though the fail with other styles of music). Theyre not bass monsters, far from it and I don't think I could ever believe that theyre bass heavy. Could the problem be your source perhaps you Eq'd them or something?

Actually, the Portapros are from the Walkman generation...
