Oh, also, this might be a little late but, despite me being a huge silva fan, he deserved to lose. I can't imagine someone going into the octagon and dancing like that. Any news on who Weidman is going against in the next event?

Dana just announced the rematch will be happening in December, so that'll likely be Weidman's (and Silva's) next event. Agree about Silva. I like Silva too but I detest the Clowning for the same reasons... I'll admit I said on my other MMA forum that "I hope if he does that Clown act, that  Weidman KO's him". I was still kind of horrified when it actually happened though...I had to replay it about a dozen times to make I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.  I suspect Silva will be a little more respectful in the upcoming rematch.

I don't know. Clowning was part of Silva's method but I have a feeling if he'd ditch it for serious fighting he would dominate Weidman in a re-match. At least as far as striking goes.

Unfortunately Mayweather won the fighter of the year. I seriously wanna see him against Pacman, but then again that'll make his record 44-1 so I doubt he'll do it.
