The infamous Sony D-626...

Well, speaking of nobody bidding in the last few hours...I managed to get the D-626 at my absolute max price (16,000 yen).

For whatever reason, absolutely nobody sniped the auction...perhaps because it's Saturday evening in Japan...

That, and there are some MDR-E484D earbuds listed...could this week get any better?

Wow, that works out to about 130-140 USD, right? That's great, congrats!

strohmie,

You will enjoy this D-626. Great buy. Congratulations. Can you provide the link to the E484D. I have the white color.

http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b38969733 - these are black, of course. The gold ones (I think there are gold ones at least) are MDR-E484G? Is there a different designation for the white ones?

I'm hoping I can get them for relatively cheap, but we'll see. Already at 2,500. Can't wait to get the D-626 - truly a work of art, no matter what it sounds like. ^_^

Edit: Oh, and PeterR, it's about $140 + shipping plus fees, yadda yadda...probably $160-$175 all told. Still quite a nice deal.

Edit 2: Cripes...the D-88 auction, on the other hand, got sniped like there's no tomorrow and ended at 42,500. Makes me want to sell mine over there...

Yahoo Japan allows international bidders to sign up to bid on auctions (and view completed ones). I did it quite a while ago

What's more difficult is finding someone in Japan to receive the items for you so they can ship to you, since most sellers on YJ won't ship internationally.
