Eh mine are here to stay, just so durable and versatile and they sound great for the price.

Next step for me is deciding if/how I want to reshell...I'm really happy with them as is, so I may keep it cheap and go inearz instead of going for the UM upgrade.

They are susceptible to splitting at the nozzle bass and body of the IEM.  I had this happen to me while laying down.  Not a pleasant thing to wake up to.  Ironically this happened while being flip-modded.

However, it split at a natural seam in the product, so it just seemed like it was too much stress put onto the nozzle and body itself.  I've never heard of another similar case, but I bring it up as a kind-of advice/thing to avoid with these.

That was my first pair.  My second pair hasn't had any such problems.

Sounds nice. I probably wouldn't shell out for wood myself, and oddly enough I love the color of the TF10s; I'd probably get them shelled in something similar. Probably a darker shade with a touch less green.

I had those done last year (!) with Cosmic Ears.  Reshelled TF10's

 THIEF!

That's right about the color I want, just a bit darker and without faceplates. Very nice!

 I can´t wait to hear

I hope when they are done that Inearz takes photos for their FB page, that way I can just post those, since my camera is on my phone and not great. I want to put nice pictures both here and the Inearz thread.

Phil at CE was a little surprised by my suggestion. To his knowledge no one had asked for the tf10 to be done to the matching colour before. The first face plate was a little dissapointing. Had to send them back for a refit so they redid them to that darker colour.

Interesting. Its such a cool color; I don't understand why people find the TF10 unattractive. I think they're gorgeous, personally.

  I have TF10s again...all I can say is

I love my SE215s, but the TF10 is just magical with EDM and sounds great with metal and classical too, which covers 95% of my day to day listening, and the treble is oh so much more exciting.

Couldn't agree more. Great for EDM (particularly Trance) and Rock/Metal. Really fun sound. I think the UE900 is a much more technically proficient IEM than the TF10, but not actually as much fun to listen to as the TF10 is.

The TF10 holds its place as a "classic" IEM, in much the same way as the Etymotic ER4S does (albeit they are completely different sounds), and rightfully so. It's not perfect by any means, but as a fun IEM, it is great.

I found the UE900 to have better transients and dynamics, with a deeper soundstage, but not wider, and it sounds much less natural and I don't think it was really any more detailed than the TF10. I think TF10 is truer to real sound; like the UERM there is something about it that just sounds "right," whereas the UE900, despite being relatively "flat," lacks this naturalness completely, in my opinion, and is a bad step in the opposite direction.

Wish TF10 could have UE900's ergonomics and cables, though...I'd be in heaven. TF10 with UE900 depth and build...sigh, I hate being a dreamer...Logitech really does need to just put the TF10 drivers in the UE900 shell, add a mid and deep bass driver with another crossover, and call it the UE1000.

Ok, that's it...I'm saving up for the UM reshell with the 5-driver upgrade. Or maybe I should just say screw it and go for the UERM...

...plus my new mountain bike, plus my new computer, and taking the lady to cirque du soleil...god, I need a raise...

We all´ve been there bro, hang on.
