K1000 vs Omega 2 vs W2002.

Keep the K1000 - two reasons. It is not easy to get one back in the future. You can also get rid of the Woo amps as well, since you can drive the K1000 from your speaker amp - if you so wish.

The W20002 is technically not as superb as the others. So, this can go.

For the O2, it is still a current model - meaning that when you have the cash later, you can easily get one again.

My 2 cents.

Keep the K1000 - will not be easy to obtain again if you so desire. Even though the W2002 is also considered a collector's item, the SQ doesn't come close to either the K1000 or OII. As for the OII, the MKII is readily available and will sound on par/exceed the current OII.

This is a tough call because I know how good the HA2002+W2002 sound. The W2002 with other amps might not sound as good as the OII with the Woo GES, but with the HA2002 the W2002 sound almost as good.

I would keep the W2002+HA2002 if you want a closed headphone system. I would keep the OII with the Woo GES if you can live with an open headphones. The K1000+RKV is also very nice, but I would keep the OII system or the W2002 system.

I know that both you and I have the as much appreciation for the matched combo of the W2002/HA2002. That's why it's hard to let them go when they all have their own uniqueness.

Definitely K1000. I used to own both the Omega 2 and the K1000s. Since I got the K1000s hardwired (Equinox from SAA) and obtained a First Watt F1, there was no comparison.

I sold the Omega 2 setup.

Since the K1000 is discontinued and not so easy to find, I'd hold onto that one.

I'd say the Stax system should go since you can easily buy it again. And Stax is more likely to release a successor, while no chance from AKG, and probably not anytime soon from AT.
