Or anybody else???

Thanks
I haven't but I'd like to know also. The Livewires are just awesome value for money. If I was to spend any money now it would be upgrading my source. (I hope my wife doesn't read this!)

Question...I thought I was doing this right but I want to make sure. The wire with the little red rubber band goes to the RIGHT ear, correct? Thx.

What sources are people using for their livewires? Are you putting them though a amp etc?

On my ipod (rockboxed) there is a little hiss but this is acceptable as it dissaperes when the music plays.

Listening though my PC (Terratec dmx 6fire soundcard) I get hard drive noise etc from the livewires connected via the headphone jack. I've got around this by connecting the optical output to my Logitech 5.1 setup....however this is a compromise as the logitech has a little more hiss than the ipod.

I have just been reading about the ZERO 24 BIT/192KHz DAC/Headphone Amp/Pre-Amp and was thinking maybe that would be the best solution for listening though my computer (my main source while at home).

Just comparing a few flac files at the moment against my mp3's. They seem a little clearer but not noticed a major difference yet. Best album so far has been queen greatest hits, very theatrical sounding like things going on all over the place.

I am pretty new to IEM's and would like to know how the livewires compare to one of the more popular headphones such as the super.fi.5. I would like to have a phone with a little more bass since I currently own a pair of IM716. I am leaning towards triple black livewires with a black connector. Also does anyone know if the livewires are iphone compatible? Thanks!

Would love to hear about the bass capabilities of the LW's as well!

I am listening from an ipod touch line out to a minibox-e+, and they are pretty quiet. any backround noise is completely unnoticeable once the music starts. Don't forget that the quality of your music collection makes a big difference too with such sensitive phones! I have been ripping cd's only in apple lossless for awhile now.

Sound quality, and maybe this is just me, but I would say they are on par with my SE530's.

FeedMeTrance...I saw your posts on another thread about going back and forth between the new Freqs and the livewires. The acclaim for the livewires is pretty universal, to me the freqs are unproven so far and the pictures of that first pair didn't look too great. pull the trigger on the livewires, you won't be disappointed!!!

Blimey, did you manage to fit them in to the wrong ears?
haha, no they are in the correct ears, but since the cables are detachable you could hook them up to the wrong side. they don't come attached from livewires so you have to figure it out the first time.

By they way, I'm such a big fan of the Livewires, I've decided to sell my SE530s. I've barely been using them since i got the LW's!
