Same as above.

beerguy0; Great panos. I like how your eye follows the falls from top to bottom, likewise for the Covered Bridge, your eye starts with the Fall colors on the left then follows the road around to the bridge.

The only thing that came to mind was "Cold Duck" the beverage. Do they make that stuff anymore?

wayneker; Are you happy with your ".mac" account? Worth $100/yr?
I've been tempted.

Man, that duck wasn't the only thing that was cold... this was actually right during dusk, right next to the lake in kingston Ontario sometime during November. Might give you an idea... this was about a month before the lake actually froze over. (Which I have tons of pics of as well)

I lit it with my Rebel XT onboard flash, which might give you an idea of how close I got to it by army-crawling over the rocky beach.

Why'd I go after a duck picture? beats the hell out of me.

Lol, maybe next time you should put on some clothes when you take gear pictures wayneker, or avoid the reflection from the TV [img]http://www.head-fi.org/forums/images/smilies/http://hfimage.head-fi.org/smilies/biggrin.gif.

That's what happens when you mix Beryllium and Burmester.

You just wanna get naked and take pictures

.Mac, it's great man, with the new iLife 08 web gallery can be viewed with iPhoto-like interface, you can set limit on who can download high resolution pictures as well. I am also in to photography and was sick of making DVDs for my friend, now with a few click, they can download whatever they want. With the new upcoming leopard, it's going to even more useful, you can access your home mac anywhere.

No that wasn't me naked in the picture, that's my brother smoking in the room, no x-rated thoughts here, ok.

I used Minolta and now Sony DSLR, they have this lens 135mm STF that's one of a kind. 2 Apertures and it gives you the best bokeh in the world, butter smooth water-painting like bokeh. It just seems everything melts into each other while keeping the subject sharp.

Yeah, burmester and beryllium really make you want to go naked. It just sound beautiful. I bought the speakers first, fraction of JM Lab's Utopia BE series with 80-90% of the SQ. Bought myself a used Marantz PM-14SA AMP that I use in tandem with CEC DA53 DAC. The Marantz blew in less then a week. I sold my stock and went shopping and bought the Burmester 051 integrated AMP. Few days later, I decided to upgrade my source. After auditioning Burmester 061, Estoreric D-05 and P-05, Wadia and etc, I just had to get the 061.

Below is a few samples of my gallery, still need to improve.

Great picture! The grain is hardly visible here. Are you sure it's not just JPG compression?

Can I give some advice? You're using ISO 400, which will induce a slight bit of grain. Drop it down to 100 for landscapes, as especially those as serene as this which will show grain easier than busy pictures. Also, you have the aperture very low, which would give great depth of field though isn't required in this shot, since everything is far away and relatively flat. Bump that up to f/9-11 or so, as that's most likely the sharpest point of your lens. You'll see your shutter speeds go down ofcourse, but on the wideangle setting that you had it you shouldn't have trouble keeping it still.
