This is a great tea that I think anyone would enjoy:heart_eyes:.


Just an original orange-butterscotch taste that never gets old. Amazing.

This Fujian Jasmine is used by almost every place we used to eat at in Southern California. Super low cost but good. Comes in giant boxes that would last a year.

Here is a really good basic red (Orange Pekoe Tea) from India. Super-super strong if you leave the bag in. I know why they put milk in their tea in India. lol
 
You can get over three pounds for $20.00, but should try it first as it's not for everyone.

I have ended up getting large 200g or 500g boxes of both of these. The Earl Grey being maybe one of my most favorite teas of all time. Just an amazing color and taste. Just perfect in every way. Taking a cup of this Earl Gray outside in a clear cup will show off its hypnotic color. I don't think I have ever seen a more beautiful tea.
 
Ahmad Tea is a British company that ships all over the world. The tea can be found in small tea bag boxes or in giant loose leaf boxes. A great value and quality standard.
 
 
Just get a large order, you cant go wrong with these, although the Darjeeling has a little bite, the Earl Gray I could drink always.

My mother brews this (loose leaf) with milk. She doesn't add the masala spice in it, but instead adds elaichi (cardamom) seeds into it, making elaichi tea. My aunts brew it with ginger, but I much rather prefer elaichi myself. It's definitely a favorite of mine.

Yes, I have been given some packages of those masala spices which have been compounded into a power to add to tea. Folks give me gifts like this because they know I love tea. Tea masala is not something I have been able to get into.

I like the taste of straight tea.

a lot cheaper than drinks at Starbucks. i usually brew it 3 times. comes out to maybe 15 cents per cup

jus finished delighting in a cup of Green Tea (Lung Ching Dragonwell) from the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Due to its affordable price and wonderful taste, this selection returns great bang for the buck! I also enjoy CBT's Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls. Priced @ $21-4oz, this really works for my budget and represents my day-to-day consumption. I'd have no problem getting some high-end buds to cherish now and again with or without company. One less bottle of French bubbly (Champagne) to hold the budget together.

On the vessel side, I have a handful of different Gaiwans and a few more teacups but my fav by far is my Ming Dynasty influenced Black Pearl Gaiwan shown below.

A few moments ago, I happened across another teacup that so far is holding my attention. Maybe another sign that the holidays are near.

My set up is fairly simple, mostly due to the fact that some of my equipment didn't survive my last move. I'm in the market for a new gaiwan, preferably porcelain. Any suggestions? The Ming-inspired one is nice, but where is it from?
