I don't know why I didn't delete my Head-fi bookmark after I decided on the SR-60s two years or so ago. "Awesome quality for the price. For some, the last pair of cans you'll need" were my parting thoughts as I walked out of local store. Yeah, right.
After reading about the iGrados elsewhere I came back to Head-fi to get the low-down. Of course, I couldn't stop scanning other postings. The iGrados didn't work out so well for me, but the sharp Hi-Fi talons dug deep.
Now I just placed an order for a Go-Vibe V5 amp*, anticipating dropping much more on either a pair of Beyerdynamics 880 or Sennheiser 595. If my wallet seizes up, I can at least plug in the Grados or my Shure E2c. My wireless Sennheisers are on their own plugged into the bedroom TV.
The addiction has no cure!
*No, I couldn't afford the Hornet or LaRocco. And the XIN site and discussions were just too confusing.
