Thankyou for bringing that one up! My dad wears one constantly, and I can't stand it. It just seems snobby. I can never tell when he's talking to someone either. He'll just start talking, and I'll have no clue as to what he's talking about. Oh, he also talks very loud into it.

Very true.

But, from http://rides-mag.com/DONK/

we bring you an entire magazine dedicated to celebrating the scene, the cars and the culture.

WHAT CULTURE? A fad is NOT a "culture", fool. This is you doing things because the person next to you is doing it and you want to one-up the guy.

There is nothing wrong with doing whatever you would like - but too many of these type of people do not even have their own lives or houses in order, no less worry about how their "ride" is "hooked up".

For instance, we come to this web site to discuss audio and the associated equipment. An interesting discussion for most of us. But, I would say, most of us do NOT go around judging our value to others based upon what audio equipment we have...

You can self-interpret the balance of where this post might go.

In no particular order:

Cell Phones.
'1337' Speak.
MySpace.
The entire 'i' generation (except for the iPOD vibrator - that one is a winner!).
Vanity License Plates.
Rice Burners, especially the ones that sound like an angry bumble bee.
CDs that are recorded 'Hot'.
Overuse of smiley face emoticons.

'Streetstyle' headphones.
Gold Plated Teeth.
People who are Tweeners.
Reality TV.
The Creepy Person who greets you at Wal-Mart.

I could go on all day, but I will let someone else have a turn.

you know what annoys me, self righteous people who like to knock others because they have been brainwashed into becoming conformist sheep who secretly wish they could wear their feelings on their sleeve.

would the above describe the Donk drivers, or the people dissing the Donk drivers? either way, association with a Donk indeed ends up in annoyance.

I'm annoyed with the whole gangster culture thing. If your a white boy living in the county, put your hat forwards and pull your pants up, you are not a gangster. I think Jeff Foxworthy says it best: "You ain't no gangster if you mother has to drive you to school, pull your pants up!"

Calling someone close-minded is close-minded. Think about it...

Yeah, the whole gangsta thing drives me nuts... it probably wouldn't bother me a bit if there wasn't an @sshole thug attitude that went with it but they seem to go hand in hand more often than not... maybe I'm just getting old
