I saw that post, but did not know the date had been set, thought it was just a suggestion of the earliest available date at your church. I'm fine with that date now, things could change by then. Maybe we should see who would be coming and what they could bring then?

I'd be interested in helping plan it. I live right across the river and I've hosted a meet before. PM me if you have any questions or need some tips.

OK looks like there is a great deal of interest for this meet. Good news! Let me work through the WAF (as she will be stuck with our 3 year old and newborn) and I'll be getting back to everyone very soon. But until then tentatively put down October 8 on your calendars.

Those who are coming should also start a want list. I'll be the first.Becuase of this thread I started, it would be nice if someone could bring Senn HD-650's with a nice matching solid state amp to prove my ears (which do not currently like the Senn sound) wrong.

You are bad! The only thing I can bring is my AKG K501's, maybe by then I'll have an amp. Oh and if we need sources, I can bring a stock Toshiba 3950.

I am going to try to make it. I may have a gig early that afternoon in Conshohocken, but if I do, I will try to come to the meet afterwards. I don't have much to offer in the way of equipment, but I will bring what I have:

iriver H120 with Rockbox
iriver H340
Shure E3
Shure E4
Koss KSC-75

I'm interested in listening to any entry-level portable amp like a CMOY or PA2V2 to see what, if any, effect they have with the H340/E4 combination. I'm also interested in listening to open cans in the $75-200 range. As I don't have much experience with any open cans, just about anything that I could listen to would give me a place to start evaluating different types of cans to see what I do and don't like.

If I came, I can bring AKG 271S with Zu Mobius AKG. New source might be in the works too, we'll see.

You can take the R-5 to Chalfont station and I can come pick you up. It is only about 5 mins. down the hill from the church.

mrdon, edit your first post to include the date and time.

If there are any mods reading this, please change the title of the thread to display the date.

I should be able to make it for a few hours and bring some stuff such as Meridian G08, KGSS, Senn HE-60, Headroom Micro amp, and either Senn HD-650 or Grado RS-1.

mrdon, we will need some power strips and outlets close by.
