I have not found any tube amp to be my cup of tea yet, so here is my humble reco for humble budgets and you will not regret of anything....if youl ike the R-10 or the CD3K of course...
1) R10/RP33 or R10/my PPA (either one being the R-10 there)
2) Now in no particular order either the CD3000/my PPA or the CD3000/RP33
3) The remaining other will fall in the third place of course
my PPA has dynobias diamond buffer, dial o bass via an ALPs pot, internal regulation, linear PSU, and either OPA637's/627BP's or AD8065's (testing them now, wonderful detailed sound BTW)
(1) Symphonic 4200 CD player and it's stock headphones.
(2) Radio Shack 230 CD player and it's stock headphones.
(3) Bose wave radio (the living end) and Bose Triports (is it Heaven).
