Pros: easy to drive, bass hits low, highs are clear, great stage for a portable.
Cons: expensive, mids slightly recessed, plastic hinges
I have tried the JBL Synchros line of s300, s500, and s700. As it turns out, the low end model sounds the best to me. These are on ear design, cups are about 3 inches wide. Headband and yokes are metal, hinges and cups are plastic. I would like metal for the hinges for durability myself.
The sound is very nice for a portable, a V shaped sound curve with bass that hits very very low. Extra wide stage for a closed portable. I prefer this over some other portables like the Vmoda M80, Philips A1 pro, Sennheiser on ear momentum, and Beyer dt1350. The only portable so far I like more is the M-audio M50. At retail price these are too much, but prices are dropping to the sub-$70 mark, at that price I can recommend these whole heartedly.

Pros: build quality, mostly balanced sound
Cons: sound still slightly dark, not quite circumaural
These headphones seem to have great build quality, with tough plastic, metal hinges, and leather earpads. Comes with 2 braided cables. The sound is much much better than the horribly bassy image ones. The sound on the Status is in line with Klipsh' armature iems- slightly warm, rich, decent soundstage. Highs are slightly recessed and not sparkly. these are also not quite circumaural to big ears. They can be found for about $130 nowadays and are a good headphone at that price.

Sound wise, its quite good and natural but the headset is too big for a small face like mine. Walking around wearing it in public places will bound to attract many onlookers looking at you as if you are an alien from outter space!!

I own these and really want to like them, but the midrange is too recessed for me. Did you find that the case?

Pros: Metal and leather, extra cables, crisp audiophile type sound, above average noise cancelling
Cons: Price-possibly, slightly tight fit, lacks bass for the mass-market crowd, only plays with noise cancelling on
First off- I got these for $130 from Newegg, and for that price they are a bargain. The $400 list price is way too expensive. Th fit and finish are beautiful on these, my only complaint would be the earcup caps are plastic. it comes with a nice case, and 3 different type cables. These are noise cancelling headphones, and the noise cancelling has to be on to produce sound. The noise cancelling is above average in quality, though not quite up to Bose standards.
The sound: Crisp, detailed, great range. These are in the same vein as an AKG K550 or a Pioneer HDJ-2000 in the way they sound. sparkly highs, clear vocals and mids, and nicely textured bass. The bass will seem light to the Beats/mass market crowd. The T350 has a little more bass than the k550 and a little less than the hdj2000, which is plenty for the headfi crowd.
If I had my way, I would remove the active noise cancelling and plastic caps. As it stands, these are a bargain at the current price.

Thanks for the review.
I saw the price on Newegg a few days ago and wanted to pull the trigger based on the looks alone but the lack of reliable info kept me on the fence. I'm gonna pull the trigger on a black pair, too bad the brown one is out of stock :frowning2:
