A new TOP or an ordinary planar iem?
Pros: 1) Excellent presentation with colorful box
2) Good package
3) Universal sound setting
Cons: selected colors(case/faceplate)
a bit soft sound
Unpacking:
A large box in which we find an equally large case, the headphones themselves and a small set of my favorite ear pads.

Everything in detail
1) Complete wire - it is soft, medium in weight, made with high quality and it is clear that it is not cheap. There is only one small minus - it is better to warm up the formed ears and fit one of your ears (all this is done with a hairdryer).

2) The complete case is quite large and can hold several pairs of headphones (or headphones + a small player). In general, a great accessory, except for the chosen color - it seems like a handbag. Also, the constant winding of the wire takes a lot of time, so you can simply remove the inner lining and fold the headphones faster9 just by winding them in your hand).

3) Finally, the headphones - the shell is somewhat reminiscent of MuseHifi Power, but much smaller, I just exhaled when I saw them (finally they fit in my ears). The shell made on a 3D printer, everything is done neatly. Judging by the many holes, a special acoustic technology is used here that was in 11. The faceplate is beautiful, the color is bright and unusual, but I'm not sure that everyone will like it.

What about...sound?
Okay, let these headphones warm up for about 4-6 hours before listening to them carefully. During warm-up, I noticed that the upper mids became a little softer, the brightness and a little scream on the vocals went away.
In short, they took MuseHifi Power and simply changed the damper, which brought a little more detail in the middle and high frequencies. Is it bad or good? sooner is good, because often other manufacturers' planars turn out to be quite bright, which, with prolonged listening, affects fatigue, in the case of Ze Tian Wu, the sound turned out to be between comfort and audiophile presentation.

1) Bass - a little softened, served whole and does not try to knock out your membranes with its beats, just calmly and softly, immersing you in a deep atmosphere of low frequencies.
2) MIDs are slightly pushed back, moderately detailed, i.e. without sharpness and audible sharp peaks. Despite the rather strange rumble, the mid frequencies are heard quite evenly, again solidly and coherently.
3) High frequencies are the most standard, and you should not expect revelation. But again, the tuning is to be commended for the lack of sharp and harsh annoying peaks. At high frequencies, you hear more massiveness than lightness and airiness, with all this, the length is quite average (also - this is not bad and not good, just normal).
4) As for the stage, it's also average, which is strange because the similar acoustic structure that I saw at MuseHifi Power gave just incredible depth, but here it's not so much.

As for the comparison with other planars (I listened to all available planars except Hook -X): this is a kind of "golden mean" where the upper midrange frequencies are neatly done and the bass is generally not bad. Can you find something better? - perhaps, but this will already be a matter of taste (someone will need more sharpness and less bass, for example - LetShuoer S12, etc.).
It's just that they are more universally tuned, and that's it.

The soul of Scandinavia that gave sound to these headphones
Pros: 1) Incredible appearance and manual assembly;
2) Rich set;
3) Large color choice of the case;
4) Good quality cable with interchangeable connectors;
5) Mid-range sound at an affordable price
Cons: 1) With simple sources they sound bright and lifeless;

Kinera Idun Golden in Snowy White color.

I would like to start my review with why I purchased these headphones - this is the appearance. I often walk and with these headphones I began to notice people's attention - many people even compliment and ask what kind of headphones I have because they really look unusual.

Speaking of the kit:

it is extensive and rather rich compared to other manufacturers, let's look at the basics:
1) ear pads, there are 3 types of them: foam, and two types of silicone. Transparent-colored ear cushions suited me the most, because with them sound insulation and landing comfort are higher, cream ear cushions are softer and a little shorter - and they will suit lovers of soft ear cushions. And yes, the higher the sound insulation, the more accurate the sound transmission will be, so, I repeat, my choice is transparent-colored.
2) cable: quite soft, looks to match the color of the headphones. Of the pluses, I can single out interchangeable connectors that hold tightly in the connector. By the way, you can also buy other connectors, for example, from TRN - one connector and one. As a minus(in my case), I can write down the fact that the cable was badly twisted and the heat shrink on the ears turned over, but I quickly fixed it by heating them with a hairdryer.
As for the sound, this cable gives massiveness to the headphones, it is of average quality, and if you need to squeeze the sound out of the headphones, you can buy a graphene cable.
3) the case is compact, but due to the thick cable, the headphones will have to be twisted more carefully, otherwise they will not fit completely. Inside, the case is upholstered with soft fleecy fabric - I have only seen this in expensive headphones.

First sound impressions after unboxing:

From the first seconds, the sound seemed quite bright and light to me: the upper middle was highlighted, which exposed the vocals to be rather rough and sharp. After that, I spent about 30 minutes selecting ear cups and cable to adjust the sound for me. From all my selection, I found out that:
1) headphones are sensitive to ear pads - choose them carefully (in my case, the transparent-colored "M" ones from the kit came up);
2) A standard cable will give you a thicker and richer sound, and if you need to make the sound more sophisticated, then use graphene.

I found the perfect sound balance:

As I said above, be more careful about accessories when setting up headphones, as this will affect (in this case a lot) the sound.
So, my impressions after a long listening:
The sound of the headphones is tuned rather to most genres, because I don’t hear a specific emphasis on any part of the frequencies, which means that the headphones have a near-neutral sound, although the manufacturer himself writes in the booklet for these headphones that the tuning (tuning) is more suitable for popular genres (i.e., this is partly true).

We proceed to each section of the frequency response:

1) Low frequencies are supplied neutrally and dosed, the depth is at an average level, as is the control. The impact is somewhat softened, but on the other hand, it does not pull the accent. Perfect for classic instrumental genres, trance, swing and the like. For electronic genres, the bass might be enough, but I'm sure you'd like a little more.
2) MIDs - they can be from "incredibly transparent and lively" to "horror, turn off the saw!", why? As I said above - the ear pads greatly affect the sound and the first thing that suffers is the mids. With the ideal sound isolation for you, the mid frequencies will also be supplied in a metered amount, they balance between intimacy and a little distance, so you feel good depth of the stage, and the vocals and all the accompaniment will surround you. I repeat the main thing - the mids are very transparent, they also balance in terms of the amount of mass, there is no excessive assertiveness or subtlety, just balance.
3) High frequencies - a custom emitter from an unknown manufacturer is responsible for them, but it does its job well. I'll tell you straight: these high frequencies are not for HF-phobes, because there is a slight accent, no, it is not screaming, not streaking, but it may seem like a lot of them, which will create tiring for some. Also, importantly, the quality of the source will affect the high frequencies, for example, with the QLS361, the high frequencies are gorgeous, I really enjoyed the attenuation and airiness in them, with more affordable players(Cayin N5, Zishan Z4 mod), the high frequencies could slightly rattle and give out small sibilants.

DSC00162.JPG

Am I satisfied?!

yes, in addition to good sound, I got aesthetic pleasure from the beauty of the headphones. As for the comparison, most of the headphones will give tuning with an emphasis on some part of the range, right there everything is very neutral and I would even say, neat.
Why didn't I give 5 stars? - headphones have some dependence on the source and I would recommend taking either a slightly dimmed source or a source that controls high frequencies well.
And here is my video - review with detail macro visible the appearance of the headphones

Red Hearts from QOA - Vesper
Pros: 1)Fixed the problems of the first version in which the membrane sunk when inserted into the ear;
2) The bass has become more controlled, it is slightly less and it does not affect the mids;
3) high frequencies, it seemed to me, also became less harsh and the vocals became a little more natural;
4) Beautiful appearance that will appeal to girls and not only, a fairly long sound guide and a compact shell;
5) Excellent complete cable;
6) Good quality eartips included, no need to buy new ones;
7) not picky about the source(too good with USB-C DACs);
8) comfortable sound for POP/EDM music;
9) soundproofing is above average;
10) They are very light, weightless, good for long wear.
Cons: 1) red color for some may seem very bright;
2) there is a little crackle of the membrane, but if you only screw the earpiece very hard into your ear;
3) not suitable for styles where a smooth pitch is needed, because there is a little more bass than necessary;
4) there is a little synthetic on the vocals;
5) there is no mesh on the speaker sound guide (dirt can get in)

I already had this model earlier, but in green, which I took almost a year ago when they first went on sale. I will say frankly and honestly - I didn’t like the green version in terms of sound, because the sound (bass and mids) constantly disappeared, since the speaker membrane constantly shifted when inserted into the ear, I had to pull out and blow the earpiece, it was very uncomfortable. The second is the sound, for me at first it seemed too bassy with very bright and synthetic on female vocals, I got rid of these headphones.

Further, after almost a year, I managed to buy these RED Vesper for a very low price, because there were promotional codes and I decided to give these headphones a second chance and listen to them on another player.

First look 0щ0

The set has not changed and remains the same:
iems, hybrid silver/cooper cable that I liked so much that I had to look for the same for other headphones(not found :frowning2: ), and 6 pairs of ear pads with a good case.

The appearance of the headphones $o$
There are a lot of photo under spoiler:

Oh yes, they look beautiful, but I agree that the color may be too feminine to some extent, but it seems to me that for all young people, on the contrary, this color will be preferable, since I have not seen headphones that stand out in color for a long time.
There are some questions about the quality of workmanship - there are small traces of casting and post-processing on the case, apparently this process is still manual and this case is cast, perhaps also by hand.

Improvements, what?

To be honest, when I bought these headphones, I did not expect a good sound and generally expected mediocrity, but I was a little pleasantly surprised...
The first thing I noticed was that the membrane did not sink in, at first I thought it might be due to other ear pads that I used (not stock ones). I tried the complete ones - the same situation, but if you twist the earpiece in your ear and insert it deeper - that is, a slight crunch, but the sound does not get through. For the sake of interest, I wrote in support about this, to which they answered me:
"In the early models there was a very small compensation hole, due to which the membrane could sink and the sound would disappear, then this hole was expanded... Kinera support".

I remember that when I looked at the internal structure of the green version, I saw that the speaker had a special chamber and there was a hole, but it was filled in - they made this hole, which is why now everything is back to normal.
Phew, so, what about the sound then there?

Talk about SOUND

IMG_20220123_121855_GC6.1_gamma1.8.jpg

So we come to the most interesting thing - the sound.
I don’t know what gave: roofing felts red racing color or all the same a change in the internal chamber, but the sound got a little better for sure.

The first thing I noticed was a moderate amount of bass, now it does not climb into the mids, it has become a little more accurate, it has not lost depth and mass, but now it doesn’t hurt my head for sure. There was a lot of bass in the greens.

If we talk about the mid frequencies, then that's exactly what has changed and I can hear it - moderately bright vocals. Although it still has a slight synthetic color, it is still a little smaller and it does not scream in your ear. I could not listen to the greens for a long time because the vocals were too close and there were a lot of them, it seems to me that in the greens there was a rise in the 2 - 2.5kHz section, which was why this brightness was.

High frequencies are slightly softened, but, apparently, due to the fact that there is not such an obvious rise by 2-2.5 kHz, they are felt better in terms of overtones. These are not the best high frequencies in this class for sure, and they are more likely to have small overtones without aggressive distortion.

Resume

These headphones are not new and they will not be able to provide you with something extraordinary in sound, however, I know some people who need a very beautiful design than even a kind of wardrobe item in their style - there are few such headphones, especially considering the fact that they are made exclusively in simple colors without a bright presentation, you must admit - almost all models are already somewhat similar to each other, and here there is a little zest, but the truth is, not for everyone.

i.e. these headphones are a certain balance of sound and style, and for those who need headphones as a bright addition to style.

Good to know they have a version 2 now. The og one was my fav budget IEMs for alternative and classic rock.
