Pros: Build Quality, Long Cable, Clean balanced sound, Very Warm
Cons: Bass (In my opinion) is a bit loose, Recessed mid- section, VERY Flat (But you might like it)
I don't like this headphone, I can't tell you otherwise.

I like open back cans because it's generally less-fatiguing for me and spacious. But for the price range, and for being closed-back these REALLY are hard to beat.

It is one the most detailed/aggressive cans I have ever tried on, but I admire it's detail ( this is why it got 3 stars.)

The most forward , harsh , grainy and un-balanced headphone for the price
There's nothing commendable about this ubiquitous headphone

the only thing good about this headphone is the frequency responce...
other than that, others are better

come on guys, we all know 1/2 the time the headphones plugged into bestbuy/futureshop aren't gonna sound good cause more than 1/2 the time the headphones are have been treated like they've been thrown into a dumpster. (plus the dac their plugged into is quite poor as well). soo the solo hd can't take all the blame =P

Pros: With high quality music files can sound like live performance, Energetic, Fast Attacking, Warm mid-section
Cons: Very bright headphone, Does not dig very deep, Smaller soundstage than most @ Price range, COMFORT BLO

Of all, IMHO I find them the MOST detailed.I feel like i'm in a live performance in the front row seat especailly with .dsf or flac files. They are bright but after about a month of listening you do get used to it (I don't believe in burn in).

I would give this a 5 if it didnt torture me everytime i wear it xD... and if the bass would dig a little deeper.

Overall these are beautiful sounding and i personally enjoy bright headphones more than dark ones. (But that's just "ME",)

Of all the headphones these don't have the best detail. But IMHO the sound is very balanced and they sound so cheerfull. Especailly with a DAC/AMP. They are forgiving during bad recordings and sound great directly plugged into my iphone 4s.
