Pros: Battery life, design, screen
Cons: top heavy, fragile, buttons
First the Kindle, second the audio

The Kindle is great if you like to read. It looks like a read piece of paper in front of you while also not being a book. I use mine to read translated Light Novels and Manga.
You can place PDF or use the converter Calibre to convert PDF over to the Epub and the kindle can use it's full features. The features include: It reads to you, size font and size of text area, motion the text side to side and note and bookmarks for later. PDF can't do as much and I was lacking this.
To read manga on a kindle, you use Mangle (oooooo, the name) to put the manga .jpg into a imag book form so the kindle can read. Nice feature but best on the DX kindle.

The UI is trash, but much more usable then the Cowon's UI. Buttons are shallow and hard. I'd like to see touchscreen sometime in Kindle 4. The battery is at the top so top heavy and it's too thin to take out of the expensive kindle case. But the case is nice. MAKE SURE TO BUY THE KINDLE FLIP OVE CASE MADE FOR THE KINDLE. not a slip over, it makes a difference.

Audio is subpar. The feature was a throw in. I loaded up a couple low quality albums to save space and I play when I don't have music already going.(quite rare). On board power if more then a NDS but less then a Sansa. Cna push my HD598 well but not loudly. The speakers are nice though. Coming from extra flat low power speakers, they give a soundstage and some bass impact loose while also letting the treble play clearly and some mids separation. Grain of salt here.

Overall: Great to read and to get free classics and whatnot online to put on. Not very good to buy a book every now and then. If you do read, it will be a lot better then to buy a collection. But you also lose the library you wanted to grow. Otherwise saves money they also. Buy this for the reading and also check out the audio, not the other way around.

Pros: Absolutely great Mids, Great Detail, Fun to Mod
Cons: Dull at first, takes a week to learn to love
I'll be posting a thread reveiw for these later, but here's the short:

Pros:
Amazing Mids - beats out $500 headphones
Great Highs - Close to Grado, about Sr80i
Good design to play with

Cons:
Bad design - can be fixed with mods. Cups and headband would be a dream.
Bad cup design - play with it for a while and the sound improves
1/4inch without adapter. Not much of a problem, but at this price I expect a 3.5mm jack with an adapter

Get these headphones if you love Acoustics, Classical, Some rock, Metal, older music and you like to mod.

I've already stuffed the cups with blutack and made new, larger earpads. Both have solidified the sound and made them more comfy. Personally, I'm afraid these monsters might become too good one of these days and beat out my other headphones.

Pros: Great audio for the value
Cons: Ugly, large for size, cheapy
I bought these after I bought my Grado SR80i, so comparison will ensue

Audio:
They say the same drivers as the... Clip on Koss headphone - too lazy to steal them from my mother
But the Koss PP are more bass and are clearer
Good highs
Lacking mids, but there
Good heavy bass, but little muddy
Great for a starter hifi and will give you the "I never heard that before" feeling in your music

Design:
Horrible. Seriously
You don't notice the top band, but you have to adjust to your head every time you get them out so long assembly time for every listening.
The band does go from baby to fat head size. And the band does not grab hair as well as others.
It does adjust the pressure but still is a chore to do and keep adjusted
The cable is thin and too short for me, but can be used well.
Plastic is hard and may cut people
the "ipod compatable" jack is stupid. Koss is a suckup
They hardly fold up and I would rather bring my mdr v6's then these because they fold up to the same size

Comfort:
They do have nice pads and adjust for comfort, just a pain to do.
They do not go around the neck well, but can be possible

Overall great for a starter Hifi headphone and will keep you coming back to them as a standard of audio quality. I recommend these to anyone before they buy a more expensive headphone

Pros: Amazing Audio, great cord, basic design
Cons: Swiveling headphones, headband, earpads, the cable connections
Buying these, changed the way I listen to music

I HATE THESE HEADPHONES, THEY TURNED ME INTO A AUDIOPHILE
they taught me that there is more to music, then what I was listening to

Before, on my Senn HD 201s, I could hear the music
These, make me listen to the music

I hear sounds and tones that before, I didn't know existed in the music
the sound stage is wide and amazing

Cover one side of the open phones and the music cuffs out. because of their design, they leak sound
I don't care about leaking

The headphones swivel, not a big deal, but they can twist the cord.
The left and right headphone cords are squishy, with padding in them to allow them to wear out the twisting

The pads suck, yet are better then cheaper phones.

the band is thin, yet on my head, they don't make a difference

the line in to where the cord meets the headphone could use some protection

the build is mostly plastic, it feels cheap but makes me feel as if it could outlast aluminium

the slider stays in place and slide easily when needing to move

mods are all over the place, so these things can be transformed in endless ways

Headphoneus Supremus
Pros: Thick metal backing, practicly indestructable
Cons: dust, dust, dust, plastic top screen, interface
This was my first mp3 player

I bought this 5 years ago, I guess.

I loved it, it had a thick metal back, an actual movable wheel for interface and volume, easy controls, played audio in amazing quality (back then), and had so many features more then a ipod (back then)

Problems:
The mic button is finicky and if you touch it, the music stops and it records. It'll take you around ten miniutes trying to get out of recording
The plastic screen collects scratches.
The expansion never worked for me, i didn't really care
The expansion slot sucks in dust and places it directly on the screen
the wheel is finicky
the buttons are hard to press
the buttons wear on the top cover, before it died, i could just touch around the buttons to use it
To large of a plug it for what usefullness it has
hold slider was small and stuck into place to hard

This thing lasted for around four years, before it didn't want to take a charge. I tore it apart and searched inside. Nothing worked.
I had to retire it

I still haven't found a replacement

Pros: Cheap, over ear, cord length
Cons: Sound, cord, fit, size, material, plug, adjustable
I have to say this, these are one of the worst headphones I have ever had.

To start the comfort is horrible. I have long hair, curly so it all bundles together. Older headphones slid through my hair, these grab every single lock and tear it off my skull. They are not slanted, to they can slid behind you head all the time. The cushions are cheap and won't last very long. They do not adjust easily, I have two clicks on one side and three on the other side. They will irritate your ears because of the non-slant in the design. The top pad is soft, yet because of the design, causes the sides to dig into your head anyways.

The cord is long 3 meters, 3 yards, 9 feet. That's abotu the only good thing. The cord doesn't wear out of that packaging crimps ever, the connections are cheap and the plug is cheap.

The sound took me a while to figure out. You need to boost your bass (I use a great soundcard on my desktop) and it took me a while to figure that out. The bass is simulated (fake BOOM) and the treble is low. Music starts to sound chippy and grainy at higher volumes. Sound leaks not too badly.

If you work with your soundcard and audio driver, you can make these things actually work well.
Realtek HD Audio Driver set to Underwater environment with Powerful set in Eualizer worked out the bass problems

They are nothing to walk around with.

Currently I have then handing by a line in my room that i can drop anytime and pop into my desktop to listen to at any moment with the long cord.

Personal Amp much needed

Through I hate them so much, I still use them for the cord length and price

If you want something you can throw away later without regrets or give to someone, these would be it.

Pros: Nice fit, doesn't slip, no cord noice, volume control, 3 sizes, great bass, sound surpressing
Cons: Cord isn't what it used to by with Sony, Volume Control, Wiring
These headphones caught my eye when I wanted to buy something to upgrade my Sony earbuds I loved for about a year.

First off, they have three sixes, with different color on the inside of the cones to tell them apart. I chose the smallest, yet they would all fit me. The sound is impressive for the price. They allow for bass, and treble to comfort to your ear and allow for multi platform listening. The sound does die off with a live album, or bootleg, but it's only if your in a deep listening session. The volume control varies in usage, at one point I like it for a quick touch to change volume in a shuffle, yet causes problems if you forgot to turn up your mp3 player and have to take it out to adjust it by controls. I threw out the cord wrap thingy, useless, I like the bag through, mmm.... felt. They do suppress a lot of noise, but not canceling, No one can hear the full volume on them form a distance, but they get loud if their in.

The first problem I have with these is the cord. It's a strong, yet thin and flimsy cord that seems to be twisting the copper inside. Not a big problem, it always happens. But Sony, to me, has always had great cords. But they fall flat with this one. The length is enough to pull down my jacket, into my pocket and have enough to stretch back to my heels without a tug on the earbuds. "I'm 6' tall". The volume control seems limited as I said. I also see a problem with the connection joints to be flimsy, yet they haven't worn out yet.

Had these for two-three months, no problems.
Bought at Walmart, kill me, it was a quick buy. for $21

Good if you trust Sony, but not if your a worshiping follower.
for <20 they are great, but if you have the money and the time to wait for shipping, get something better.
