General Information
The imAmp compatible with various Mobile audio devices is the best analog headphone amp as a portable Hi-Fi audio satisfying with sound quality improvement. As designed as a high performance Hi-Fi audio device, not using simple voltage amplification for a headphone, the imAmp features Quad OPAMP circuit design and powerful driving performance and is designed to be used as a Portable amp raising relatively low headphone output that most of the Mobile audios has up to Hi-Fi audio output. The imAmp provides a user using a high performance headphone with headphone-based high performance Hi-Fi audio environment in anywhere featuring dynamic headphone driving power, high sound definition, and analog-based high sound quality.
▶ Considerable improvement of headphone amp driving voltage
The driving voltage of the OPAMP circuit which is a critical hardware in the headphone amp is 20V as a maximum for obtaining the most powerful headphone driving power.
※The imAmp with the AC adapter connected operates stably on maximal 20V(±10V dual power supply) to guarantee excellent sound definition and balance of the OPAMP, and more powerful sound.
※The imAmp operates on a mobile mode with maximal 16V~12V(±8V~±6V dual power supply), and AVCC(Auto Voltage Control Circuit) which supplies power according to the rest of the battery power is applied for extending the battery life.
▶ High quality electrolytic condenser adopted
AHS Series(only for HiFi Audio) Electrolytic Capacitor of SamYoung, a domestic leading company, is applied to the most critical portions in the embedded circuit including the power port, and the OS-CON(high quality SP Series) of SANYO is adopted especially to the OPAMP power port maximizing analog output quality.
※ The AHS Series Electrolytic Capacitor of SamYoung and the OS-CON(SP Series) Electrolytic Capacitor of SANYO are classified into Special Product only for Hi-Fi Audio, also are the OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) type electrolytic condenser having more excellent audio characteristics than the existing electrolytic condenser in order to feature the best audio quality for the high performance audio circuit design.
▶ Quad OPAMP and Film Capacitor
The socket type exchangeable high performance OPA2134 of Ti performs GAIN Control and unique sound generation, and the additional 3 OPAMP NJM4580 is a buffer for boosting output in the Quad OPAMP of the imAmp. All of the four OPAMPs are tuned to obtain the high definition, the best balance, and the dynamic driving power. The Film Capacitor of WIMA is applied to the LPF(Low-Pass Filter) for improvement of audio quality.

The imAmp provides dual headphone output of the imAmp and is widely used from a general low impedance earphone to a studio monitoring and a high impedance headphone with the best performance. 3.5mm stereo mini headphone output terminal includes a protection circuit to optimize the imAmp for a general low impedance earphone.
▶ Functionality reflecting user environment at most and portability
The imAmp supports both 3.5mm stereo mini and 6.3mm stereophone connections without an additional gender changer. The input terminal(3.5mm), the headphone output terminal(dual), the power switch, and the volume knob are all arranged on the front for reflecting portability at most. A small battery(7.2V) is included with about 8hrs battery life. The AC adapter is used to charge and stand the imAmp.
