I love my quattro and don't see myself upgrading soon. All I hope is that the next iteration, hopefully a 5 dd/xo, in a few years can improve incisiveness/definition of sound, detail, soundstage, and imaging.

The ldac/aptx hd quality is beyond good enough for me, although the jump in quality to usb-c is noticable. I prefer using my phone, while switching to my laptop when needed, as my main media machine.

Coherency improved, mids became less sharp and aggressive, the treble woke up, and the soundstage became more open sounding.

I find that the go blu isn't powerful enough to output all the bass it can do, it took my cma18p until it finally could.

Does anyone know what the hold switch does?

Probably not, you'd have to use a po100/po100 pro or a aptx usb transmitter adapter (if you want to use bluetooth).

YMMV is definitely the rule for this set. It can be too muddy depending on your preferences but if not there's a lot to enjoy.

Someone was able to drive their sus with the 18p if you check the socal canjam thread.

Compared to the stock cable it is much colder sounding, less warmth and body, while further improving treble timbre, extension, overall image clarity/separation, and ss width/depth (slightly).

I don't listen to rock often but it sounded full while being well separated and dynamic with the few tracks I've listened to with it, given I am using the m15 with the tc09s which may contribute to cleaning up the slight bloat of the quattro.

Must've just hit the magic burn in time because my Quattro's aggressiveness/sibilance is gone and sounds airy and open now.
