I'm not hearing any of the "ringing" on my HE6se V2 previously mentioned for older models. So I don't know if it would make a difference but I'm still slightly curious. But I'm not hearing anything obviously "wrong" on mine.

Attached is my current setup. I have the iFi Zen One Signature in there too but it's not shown. I was using the NAD 3020 as a preamp but decided I didn't like the sound of it in the chain on my headphones. So now I just run the Marantz PM8004 as the amp into the HE adapter.
