For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
Audio zenith pmx2 at home and audeze lcd 2c at work Only two I own. No need for anything more. Also use chord mojo 1 in both spots. That's my whole setup and I love it!- uhhmike

i have the pmx2 v2, and its the best ive heard so far. i havent heard the Utopia or LCD-4 though, but im thinking id prefer my pmx2 over them. ive had hifiman, audeze, heard more expensive audeze, senns, etc. truth be told, the only other can i think is a better value for the cash is the HD600...- uhhmike

Rynsin - did you upgrade to v2 of the PMx2? Any recommendations for cheaper iems? Id be using them for now with a cell phone so not even sure if it's worth it. Right now I use monks at work they're surprisingly decent for the ten dollars I spent.- uhhmike

I don't have much experience with closed. I have heard LFF Paradox and they were decebt but I didn't love them. I guess if I needed closed due to noise issues I'd probably just opt for a good set of iems, I've heard there are some excellent ones out there that rival open cans especially from...- uhhmike

The AZ v2 is best I expect heard. And I don't like mrspeakers in general. Had the ether open 1.1 sold it before getting audiozenith. I don't like anything from them that I've heard.- uhhmike

To anyone whos interested, I have the PMx2 version 2 and they are incredible. Well worth the money and even the upgrade from version 1, to me. They are better than version one, which is impressive. Less warm, more clarity, more comfortable. I've had them a few months. These are the only cans...- uhhmike

I too have the second version. They are amazing. Even better than the first. I'll post pics soon they have different earpads. I agree any minor complaints I had with original (and they were minor) are gone. By far the best can I've ever heard and that includes the he1000 which is more cash. I've...- uhhmike

Yeah. To me they're dark/warm compared to the ether open which was too bright. It's all relative. I also had a grado rs1 which was bright too. Sold all three- uhhmike

Maybe it's in comparison to my main can at the time which was the ether open 1.1 which to me was bright and bad rough treble. I kind of liked the 400i just not enough to keep.- uhhmike

I thought the he400i was a notch too dark/warm for my taste. It sounded lacking in liveliness sort of. I only had it briefly but couldn't really like it. I sold months ago.- uhhmike

I heard it recently through a Sony PHA3 (i think thats the amp/dac.) I thought it was decent, but not amazing. it sounded nice, but not special, to my ears - but it could also be the amp/dac (i think the PHA3 seems decent but is overpriced, basically). I liked the LCD2F more. that thing sounded...- uhhmike

not sure. you should try contacting them on their site. the pmx2 are awesome though. theyre so clean and clear, everything else sounds filtered/EQd in comparision. i have a LFF Code-X which is a pretty rare/hard to find/well thought of can, and even that isn't as good as the pmx2, imho.- uhhmike
