Thanks, it does make more sense that there is something to cover the actual driver. If it is the meshing it doesn't seem to move around, so it's unlikely to fall off. But these being so small it is hard to say whether there is a gap for any wax to get past.- low-fi

Physically off-center driver on brand new UE700's
Just bought a pair of Logitech Ultimate Ears 700 and you can see the left driver is misaligned in its case. The right one is centered perfectly, but the left one is somewhat hidden under the casing. Would that affect sound quality in any perceivable amount? Haven't had a chance to really...- low-fi
