Sub-bass IEM - Sony XB90 replacement
Received my TFZ No.3, very very good indeed but so used to my iBasso now Id rather free up the cash for my new pet project - outdoor pizza oven! My love for headphones has dwindled recently as the gyms are still closed which reflect 99.9% of my listening time. The TFZ No.3 start on ebay tonight...- oHUTCHYo

Sub-bass IEM - Sony XB90 replacement
Hi, they're not due to ship until June so likely July by the time they reach me in the UK. In the meantime Ive bought some iBasso IT01. Very pleased but they dont have the sheer subbass thump and rumble that the XB90 did, very good IEM though and worthy for now. RIP XB90, my condolences! :(- oHUTCHYo

Sub-bass IEM - Sony XB90 replacement
Update: ordered from Mass. may as well give them a shot for that price, though dread to think what import tax I’ll be hit with in to the UK. I’ll worry about that in June! Just need to find some iBasso IT01 in the UK now. AMP3 have them for £90 but they are the red/blue, would have preferred...- oHUTCHYo

Sub-bass IEM - Sony XB90 replacement
Thank you, may I ask if you have any experience with the iBasso IT01 amongst the TFZ No 3 and other recommendations? Im learning the whole landscape is really different now than what it was when I was last looking several years ago. Found this: TFZ No.3 vs iBasso IT01 The IT01 has more...- oHUTCHYo

rha t20 vs ibasso it01
Wonderful, thank you. My source is only a little Sansa Clip+ so I worry that it may not power the T20. I'll investigate! :)- oHUTCHYo

RHA T20 vs. iBasso IT01
Can someone please give me an objective comparison on either of these IEMs? I initially convinced myself the RHA T10 were the ones for me until I realised they were discontinued. I have even approached RHA who have confirmed no stock. Which IEM has the better subbass? Which IEM objectively...- oHUTCHYo

Sub-bass IEM - Sony XB90 replacement
So my trusty XB90 died and I adored their subbass. Ive tried the XB75 which appear to be the current replacement but lack the feel of the 90s. Main genre is techno and my source is a Sansa Clip+ with Rockbox. 95% of use is in the gym (weights, not cardio). Budget up to ~£200. Ideally IEMs...- oHUTCHYo

Sennheiser IE 80 S impression thread
About to pull the trigger on these but also have the JVC FX99X in mind too. I listen to techno and my source is a Sansa Clip+ (Rockbox). Any other suggestions? Previously owned the Sony XB90 and adored its sublime subbass.- oHUTCHYo

Sony Hybrid Tips (Silicon+foam inner)
I previously had the Sony XB90 which came with the brilliant and now unavailable hybrid tips (the real ones that were silicon with a foam inner). Those give me a perfect seal and stayed in during rigorous exercise. Sadly they died and I sold them for spares including the tips. I now have the...- oHUTCHYo

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
My beloved Sony XB90 have finally failed and so have been sold as spares or repair. So guys: Sony XB75 or JVC FX99 I hear both are good. Either way I need to import from Japan to UK. Source is Sansa Clip+ and material is techno and house. I need that XB90 like subbass in my life again.- oHUTCHYo

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
This is a big thread to read from start to finish, so can anyone offer some summaries please for the current favourites? Most of my listening is in the gym. Currently using a Sansa Clip+ and Sony XB90EX, previously used other fun, bass heavy IEMs such as Hippo VB etc. Id like to start using my...- oHUTCHYo

Wireless IEMs, are we there yet?
Most of my listening is in the gym. Currently using a Sansa Clip+ and Sony XB90EX, previously used other fun, bass heavy IEMs such as Hippo VB etc. Id like to start using my iPhone in the gym instead and want to explore if bluetooth headphones have matured yet. Price is no concern despite them...- oHUTCHYo

Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread
I've just ordered myself a pair of IE80, to pair with my Rockboxed Sansa Clip Zip and retire my Sony XB90. With regads to cables, I know there are many posts scattered amongst this thread, but in the here and now and in the UK, what are currently the reccomended replacement cables? Ideally I'd...- oHUTCHYo

Non-EU iPod Firmware
I want a non-EU Nano 6G to avoid the volume cap imposed on EU models. However if I format it and update it on a UK itunes account, will it force EU firmware upon it and thus reinstate a volume cap? I also feel the need to stress I do own a Sansa Clip+ and love it. I'd just like a Nano too...- oHUTCHYo

Where can I source the Kickers in the UK? I've only seen one retailer offer them, but they are offered at £250, equal to $370!
