seriously considering getting some DT-880's currently have HD-590's on a near-maxed-META42. wanting something better in the $200~ range. mainly listen to vocal trance/techno, some classical. also used for gaming. suggestions?

What is with rereleases these days?

i'm A-B'ing HD-590's, on a META42 with a pair of old ear buds, on a 128 meg solid state mp3 player using the same file, at the same time, synced. file ripped with EAC and lame'd at preset extreme now..the impossible the earbuds sound the same as the 590's. give or take the detail and lows...

would plugging an amp into itself be a bad thing? theoriticly, it would just keep adding power to the signal and eventually burn out.

i recieved that pair of HD-600's a head-fi'er killed recently, i cant physically see whats wrong with the left driver upon a close look, but it doesnt work non-the-less.. but i can at least post my opinion of these phones in SOME light. packaging..well..amazing senn would box these up like...
