anybody heard of the HELMS iTooth or own one? Because I CANNOT find any reviews of it. And i tried my uncle's one and find it not bad but only listened for like 3 secs. So I want to ask for more opinions.

    Dr dre headphones review

The looks are one thing. The build quality, however, is another. Personal preferences I guess.

But you got to admit that the headphones are very, very nice on the outside. At least to me.

    Am I hearing things correctly?

Well, the equalizer for my android isn't QUITE the same or maybe it's just me. But I will continue to tweak the equalizer. Actually, I think the sound is better than before now that I tweaked them a little. Thanks!

    Am I hearing things correctly?

Lol still. I'm not gonna pay for something that sounds equally bad, even if it cost me $20+   May I know which one is the mids? Because I am completely dumb when it comes to headphone and stuff. New to the scene :D

ATTENTION ALL SENNHEISER HD 438 owners or Potential buyers - A simple mod that actually improves the sound

I'm not sure. The sound quality is quite disappointing. Well, the bass isn't what I expect. Itscactually bleeding into the mids I THINK. The sound is...rough if you get what I mean

Thats it? But I don't feel any tickling. I just wanna improve the SQ

    Amp for Sennheiser HD428

I saw that thread. And I have absolutely no confidence in modding my HD438 yet. I am the better-be-safe-than-sorry type. I will do it once I got bored of the can. I am hearing improvement in the sound quality after a while of burning in, not even 10 hrs though. I think it's just psychological...

ATTENTION ALL SENNHEISER HD 438 owners or Potential buyers - A simple mod that actually improves the sound

Sure. Okay. I tried to take out ear p ads but exerted no force because I am SERIOUSLY afraid that the dang thing will spoil or something. And once I take out the ear pads, how am I supposed to put it back? And what exactly is this mod supposed to do? Stop the tickling and allow higher bass?

ATTENTION ALL SENNHEISER HD 438 owners or Potential buyers - A simple mod that actually improves the sound

I know this is against the rules but I really need to ask for more opinions on this one. Question: how do you out them back again once you took them out? And what is the "real expected result" as people have different outcomes.

    Amp for Sennheiser HD428

For burning in, I'm using white noise and pink noise plus a playlist of songs. And I'm using android, not possible to EQ? I have e preamp option too. And the problem is...because the product is not a defect product, I can't change it...Rough as in, the somewhat distorted bass are bleeding into...

    Am I hearing things correctly?

I can't return it lol. It's bought from a shop and the policy is not refundable. Unless it's a defect product of course. Yeah, I will pick that up soon. Thanks. Is there anyway to solve my current problem, though?

    Am I hearing things correctly?

well, the HD438. I feel that the bass is bleeding into the mids. Bass bleed, not sure what that means. The distortion of the bass is quite disturbing. The overall sound is actually...rough, not smooth, not clean. Actually, my description aren't quite accurate. Hope you get what I mean.

    Dr dre headphones review

I tried the Studios and I really dislike it. And yeah, search the forums. There are like over 9000 threads about it. Actually, im suspecting if the reviews that said that they are actually a bang for their buck is made up. The point is, as a general rule, Beats by Dr.Dre(Studios or Solo etc)...

    Amp for Sennheiser HD428

Okay. I am burning in my HD438 because the 428s are all sold out and i don't want to go back empty-handed so I pop a 438 into mah bag. I feel like...overall, there are distortion and the music it's quite "rough". Mids are a little overshadowed by the bass. Anything to solve this? EQing? But I...

    Amp for Sennheiser HD428

I'm listening music from my phone. Sorry because I'm new to amps and stuff. I am not in need of an amp, just want to know what to get. So I can wait for E6 no problem.

    Amp for Sennheiser HD428

Ahh...I thought all cans will benefit from amps. Well, most of them anyway. This is my first headphones so yeah. I will be getting the AD700 or the M50 next so I can plan for the future.

    Amp for Sennheiser HD428

I am wondering if the FiiO E5 will fit the bill. It's extremely cheap anyway.

    Krk 6400's or ATH-M50's

I'm not too sure, but even though the bass for the M50s are flawless, I heard a lot of people saying that their mids are seriously recessed so you might wanna know that first. You might already know that, just telling you.

Marshall Major vs Sennheiser HD428 vs Sony XB700(SEE LAST POST)

Strange. I thought I typed my response. Anyway...   I thought the Marshall Major is a pretty decent HP. But that aside, I am not IN NEED of bass. Just enough to make meh happy. I'm thinking of buying HD428 because it's less than $200 and I can use the rest to buy an amp online.   Okay...
