Help with $200 over-ear search -- too many choices

Thanks for the thoughts on this.   The SoundMagic umm, sound interesting, but there are more than a few complaints about quality control and the durability of the cable.   I am leaning towards the Senn HD 598, but will be happy to talked into something that uses the full $200 budget.

Help with $200 over-ear search -- too many choices

I have dutifully read through the forum, pondered if the folks on the Wirecutter know what they are talking about, and read far too many "best headphones under $200" articles.   I have just started a new job and work in a space with wide-open seating and thus a fair amount of noise.  My IEMs...

    Soundmagic E10S Replacement Tips help

I just received my new pair of E10s and so far am happy with the sound.  However, the included tips are not working for me as I need to jam and twist them in to get a good seal, resulting in a balance of great sound AND significant ear pain!   I am fairly sure I do not have anything in my big...

Advice for airline travel portable: ATH-M50 vs. Sennheiser HD25-1 II or something completely different?

Thanks for the reply.  I have used IEMs in the past, and they are just too uncomfortable, even with custom tips.  So, I am looking for on or over ear options.

Advice for airline travel portable: ATH-M50 vs. Sennheiser HD25-1 II or something completely different?

One last comments: because I fly a great deal, I am interested in noise isolation/reduction.  Cancellation is fine as well, but I have yet to hear of a set of phones that do not sacrifice quality to achieve this.

Advice for airline travel portable: ATH-M50 vs. Sennheiser HD25-1 II or something completely different?

I have searched and read most of the posts here on this subject and am not finding the answers I need.   I am after a set of cans primarily for airline travel.  I have used etys and shure in-ear and even with custom tips, cannot get comfortable.  Someone gave me a pair of Bose, which are...
