    Sennheiser 558 or Grado sr80i

So i'm looking to finally graduate to some full size cans after exclusively using shure iem's for a while.   My choice has come down to these two. I listen to every kind of music though predominantely indie guitar rock, hip hop and jazz. I'm also going to use these to game and watch...

    Shure se215 fit

Ahh got it. Thanks man if you can't tell i am a bit of a noob to the IEM scene. Problem solved.

    Shure se215 fit

Yes i have tried that but it doesn't seem to do anything.   I'm quite annoyed at this point and i'm hoping the issue will resolve itself   Anyone who's used these have a similar problem?

    Shure se215 fit

Just got a pair of shure se215's and i can't for the life of me get them to fit.   These are my first real IEM's so maybe there's something i'm missing here; but with every tip i just can't seem to get a good seal with out holding the in with my fingers.   Help? Tips?

    Shure se215 vs vsonic ro2pro2

What do you guys think?   I know what my options are and i've narrowed them down to these two. I'd just like to know which ones sound better and why.

Ultimate ears HiFi 10 VS Klipsch Image X5 VS Vsonic GR07 R07 VS Etymotic Research HF5

I'm in an eerily similar position to you actually, and i've just decided on the gr07's. They just seem like solid all round performers which is exactly what i need. Warmer and more bass than the ety's but with less isolation unfortunatley. faaar less 'love it or hate it' sounding than the...

[REVIEW] VSONIC GR07 – Labor of Love

Going to order a pair of these tonight. Just hoping the isolation will be enough for me.

Best >$250 in ear for my needs

Quote: Awesome, that's pretty consistent with what i've read. Thanks for the help guys.    Problem solved; gr07 it is      Will be sure to post my thoughts when i get them.

Best >$250 in ear for my needs

So i've just worked out that the ck10's will be too expensive for me and suspect that they may have been too bright for me anyway (which is why i'm not so big on the dba-02's)   Which leaves me with two options, the etymotic hf5's and the gr07's    The isolation on the hf5's sounds...

    Review: Fischer Audio's DBA-02

So anyone buy these from musica acoustics?   They're better priced than treeo, the feedback for shipping from the russian's isn't great (need it within two weeks) and they seem to be in stock there.

Shure SRH 940 impression and support thread

ahh that is frustrating. the srh 440 seem like a big step down in tone from the 840 but i really want a taste of that sweet sweet shure pie. Looks like i'm looking for alternatives or going IEM.

Shure SRH 940 impression and support thread

Is the comfort and weight better on the 940's?   Something that put me off the 840's was that i'd like to use them as semi portables (planes and cars) and they always seemed to bulky.

[REVIEW] VSONIC GR07 – Labor of Love

how is the isolation on these headphones in practical terms?   Good enough for a plane trip? train ride?

Best >$250 in ear for my needs

So i'm almost certain that if i get in ears i'll be getting ck10's. The reviews are super positive and the increased isolation and build quality over the gr07's has really won me over.   I'm about to reveal the extent of my noobiness with the next question but; Would there be a significant...

[REVIEW] VSONIC GR07 – Labor of Love

So has anyone compared these to the ck10's? they're the two front runners for me right now.

Best >$250 in ear for my needs

I think the eq-5 may be slightly too expensive for me. I can get the ck10 cheaper. I was also thinking of the DBA-02's but the build quality has really put me off.

Best >$250 in ear for my needs

Ok then the vsonics do look fantastic for my needs. Another one i've come across that's just in my budget is the ATH-CK10   Is there anyone who's heard both that could comment?

Best >$250 in ear for my needs

I'm looking for a balanced IEM for listening to a wide range of music.   I'd like it to be detailed but not necessarily analytical and it's of the highest priority that it sounds good with every kind of music. I know this is very vague but right now i'm just trying to get some ideas. Thanks...

    SRH840 for portable use?

Quote: Do you have something to add swbf2cheater?   On a slightly more controversial and possibly premature note, is it worth waiting for word on the srh940's?

    SRH840 for portable use?

Quote: Are the HD-25's a big step down in sound quality? because i'd be happy to sacrifice a little bit of convenience for increased SQ. Though in all honesty, i still haven't ruled out an IEM. GRGH headphone hunting can be incredibly frustrating.   Would be interested in more...

    SRH840 for portable use?

On my headphone search, i've decided that the SRH840's sound signature sounds perfect for me. The major problem is that i'll be using these headphones on the go (not jogging or working out, just plane rides and long car/train rides) and i'm concerned they might by too large and unwieldy for this...

    E-Q5 or se425

So these are pretty much the two i'm choosing between. Looking for a balanced sound ideally, good for all genres. What do you guys think?

Best all rounder for under $300

I listen to alot of different kinds of music in alot of noisy places. That's why i've decided that for my first major audio purchase i'll pick up a nice pair of IEM's   If i had more money this wouldn't be much of problem but it seems in this price range you always have to compromise on...
