Hey Brooko just so you know, there's a NFB10 on EBay Australia ;) You know if you want to upgrade... (The unit is not mine altho I've been thinking to swap my 10.2 to that 10.32 newer unit... if the price is right)- mrAdrian

Aussie & NZ Head-Fiers Corner
On one side of the spectrum you have the 'feather class', i.e. Sony's F1, SA series etc... Then you have these 'pillows' like the old Senn/AKG/Beyer trio... Then you have the 'bricks', now there can be heavy bricks or lighter bricks, but... LCD2 and the Hifiman planars both believe in...- mrAdrian

Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
Ok what I meant is I am not sure did it improve on balanced output, but I don't really care anymore because it is sounding so good to me at this moment. I.e. I did not bother testing between single/balanced or cable or another DAC or amp or whatever. Also, TRRS can be used to...- mrAdrian

Pictures of Your Portable Rig (part XVI)
Every breath you take we'll be watching you Jokes aside, I'm not so sure about balanced being a standard! I would rank digital out in front of balanced phone out, and have manufactures starting to make more DAC/AMP that can do the whole full balanced thing or tube or whatever. p.s...- mrAdrian

Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!
Hey, The music genres you described do remind me of a grado rather than a Denon. How do you like your sr60? If you are not looking for a change, the higher end grado's do sound noticeably better than the entry level sr60. You get more resolution and refinement, and soundstage (Yes! Small...- mrAdrian

Can Con 4! Sydney, Australia Meet!
I think only the PS1 was there today. It has smaller earpads than the PS1000 (which is over year compared to the PS1 or RS1)- mrAdrian

Can Con 4! Sydney, Australia Meet!
Oh that's nice! I am personally interested in the E18 because I am deciding should I stick with a separate mp3 player or go with my phone + E18 (or an Apex Glacier if I go all in XD)... The form factor is a deciding factor to me. Looking forward to try it out!- mrAdrian

Tiny DAC, Big Sound, Evolved – Stoner Acoustics UD100 / UD110 / UD120
Might not be the best but definitely a very cheap and effective combo! Not only you get to try using Amps and Dacs, but you also get to upgrade separate components later in the stage (E6 might be the one to go first)!- mrAdrian
