I have both. Which is *best *depends on your source and if you are going to use them with and amp. The 60 is slightly easier to drive so some use them with portable CD players with weaker outputs. The 80 require a bit more power, so they sound lower in volume hooked up to the same source...

HELLO... You should always put solder on a new tip before heating it up for the first time by wrapping rosin core solder around the end of the tip and then heating it up. This is called 'tining' the tip and although most tips are pre-tined this has helped me from going through then quickly...
