Around what price points would one expect generally similar sound quality from both IEMs and Open Headphones? (e.g. $100 open headphone is about $??? IEM) I realize that IEMs and Open headphones have much different sounds, and generally its cheaper to get good sound from open headphones, but...

Just got a pair of grado sr60 a few days ago; loving them. Has anyone tried cutting a hole the size of the other side and reversing grado comfies? The foam is thicker on the backside, so maybe it would be more comfortable, and it would expose the entire driver (which could be good/bad?)...

Has anyone tried cutting the excess foam on the "olives" so they end near the end of the sound tubes? Any idea on how this would affect sound? I'm too afraid to do this myself for fear of possibly wasting a pair, but I'm curious...
