Need an amp to power my dt990/600 was just wondering is the mk3 worth the price difference over the mk2?

hmm i cant decide between ld mk2 vs mk3 does the mk3 have big advantages over the mk2? i use my dt990 mostly for gaming

Are there any big differences between the 2? I will be using 1 to power my dt990/600. If the mk3 is a big improvement then i dont mind spending extra money but if its small =p. I will be using it mostly for gaming(rpgs,etc not much fps).

I received my dt990/600 headphones recently and noticed no volume problem using my asus xonar dx sound card in fact they were really loud xD. Everyone is suggesting to get an amp though. Do amps really make a BIG difference? like will i notice it. If yes then i dont mind spending 200$-300$

I finally received my dt990/600 and they sound awsome :D i went from 10$ walmarts---->dt990. They have good volume with just my asus xonar dx powering them. I was wondering if I should get an amp. Would it be a big difference? worth it?

hi all! im iso new headphones for mostly gaming (some fps mostly rpgs/rts) ive heard good things about these 3 but cant decide which 1 to pick i wont have enough for an amp if i go with the akg or beyer but i will probly get an e9 later on all my headphones have been generic 10$-20$ so...
