Original owner. Usb is a little wiggly, but still works fine. Would work best with a usb female to male adapter and plug the cord into whatever rather than the device directly. Cheapest I could find it online was $150, but it is a bit old, so I've adjusted the price to be fair.1 port is for a...- SoAmusing777

Surround sound on PS4. Sound blaster X7+ my HD650 or Astro A40 TR Mixamp?
That's not what I asked though, nor was it about getting sound from a console. I was just wondering if you could output to the card to use it as a virtual surround processor. Btw, could you help me here? - http://www.head-fi.org/t/820684/ps4-virtual-surround-help - Trying to figure out a...- SoAmusing777

PS4 Virtual Surround help!!
Ok, so I plan to get a PS4. I opted not to get a mixamp or the Creative X7 (both are going to use optical anyway), but I do have a receiver, although it's old. I also have a Creative X-FI Titanium HD for my PC, so I guess outputting to that is an option as well, while I'm pretty sure that's...- SoAmusing777

Surround sound on PS4. Sound blaster X7+ my HD650 or Astro A40 TR Mixamp?
Wait, what? You can use a PC soundcard for surround sound on the PS4? Am I understanding that correctly? I have a Creative X-FI Titanium HD.- SoAmusing777

Best Balanced Amp/DAC under $350
That's awesome. I no longer need one of these though, and didn't end up buying anything either. I am however, in the market for a DAC to go with the HE1000 when I get it.- SoAmusing777

So what's the point of this? To use your own personal superior dac and amp to the soundcard? just using the soundcard for it's special properties? Wish one could use a soundcard like an external gpu.- SoAmusing777

Right I think. This is what he asked - "... the Polaris has the auto mute RCA outs for when I plug in headphones right?" Ah, so it defaults to auto muting? I'm thinking that's what he wants.- SoAmusing777

Nooooo noooo, I mean using the ZOTL2 as the amp, and using the mojo as purely a DAC. I'm trying to find a DAC to go with the HEK and zotl.- SoAmusing777

Hifiman HE1000 Planar Dynamic Headphone
yeah, no way. If you can pay $3000 for a headphone, you can pay a third of that on the amp. If you're gonna spend that kinda money on a headphone, you don't give it sub-par amp, plus, there are amps MUCH more expensive and DACs much more as well. That's actually something I'm not sure of what to...- SoAmusing777
