Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Did you even read my post? I said it seems unfair that they are releasing new headphones with updated firmware and not releasing that firmware simultaneously to previous owners. Legitimate gripe. I also said I only use qc35 when actual ANC is needed like on a plane, which I stand by my...- kcee

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Just to update my situation in case it helps anyone else's decision making. I have decided to return these. Burned them in 40+ hours and spent a lengthy day and night listening to them. As well as periodic listening in between burn in sessions. Sound is not great for me. Sound improved after...- kcee

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Something else anecdotally I noticed. On my iphone in the status bar when you have bluetooth headphones connected it shows a little headphone with a battery bar for them specifically. This works for my other bluetooth headphones to quickly check what level battery you have left. So far for the...- kcee

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Looks like you got the newer firmware. I just picked up a pair from best buy yesterday that must have been older stock I guess. Still on 1.052 I let them burn in all night and am going to head into work and give them a serious try today and see what 16+ hours of burn in has done. Crossing my...- kcee

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Also while burning them in for 2-3 hours, the connection dropped at least twice. I had to turn them off and then back on to get audio working again. Not a great start...- kcee

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
I picked up the PX's this morning from my local best buy who did not have them on the shelf but you could order them for pickup...go figure. After burning them in for a few hours, I couldn't wait any longer and popped them on for a test run on some personal favorites. I read through most of...- kcee

Philips Fidelio X2?!
i would definitely say they are an upgrade from the x1, they are tuned a little different i think but i also perceive that as an upgrade...much more mature sound, more well rounded.- kcee

Own both, used the MA900 pretty much exclusively the last year or so. Past a few quick comparisons I have not picked up the 900's since I have had the x2's.- kcee

Philips Fidelio X2?!
Received last night one day earlier than expected. I had fit issues with the X1, no such issues with the X2. Ridiculously comfortable and look amazing. Cable is great too. I am going to let them run in for a few days, will check in periodically and do some listening but no real listening...- kcee

$350CAD HERUS: Asynchronous USB Audio 2.0, 24bit 352.8Ks/S, DXD and DSD64/128, 2.4VRMS Headphone DAC
I inquired recently about the possibility of the Herus ever adding the ability to use the filters that are currently employed in the bigger products resonessence makes. I was told to wait until the end of the month. I don't know if that means a new product like a Herus HD or maybe a firmware...- kcee
