I have, on the DMP some years ago. I think if I go that route, I will likely go for a Focal Nutopia since the 1266 TC has the soundstage advantage the HD800S has. But I would like to try HD800S on the WA33.

That setup plucks you from reality and thrusts you into whatever is playing. The texture is my favorite part, lending to a natural sound. Somehow the presentation is very engaging, I am chalking this up to the Wilson magical mids. Enjoy!

I am keeping an eye on the Susvara 2, but DCA has a certain ‘pure’ sonic signature that I like.

I haven’t considered Rosson Audio, but I can check my local DCA dealer and see if they have Rosson brand. I heard the founder was ex-Audeze, could be interesting.

I would like the Susvara 2 to bring more of the Shang SR performance, particularly in the mids. I liked the Rhapsodio Supreme MK3 mids a lot, would like to see Susvara 2 move in that direction for the mid layering performance.

I hope it's not super efficient like HE1000SE, otherwise my recent purchase of a WA33 may be unnecessary 🤣 . Ideally Susvara 2 will have the same scaling abilities as the current Susvara. Then again, if Hifiman keeps the current Susvara around eg Susvara Classic as a discounted price, that...

Yes, but I'm not sure what Zeos 465 is. The speaker taps are designed to deliver full power to speakers, so I imagine the circuitry difference between the headphone stage and the speaker output is responsible for the audible difference.

It is a common setup for Susvara owners, for eg folks will use Sus via speaker taps w/ AHB2 speaker amplifier.
