Panasonic CZs (HJE900) Appreciation Thread and Pending Review
Quote: Thanks, but EU Amazons are expensive (quoted priced was from amazon.co.uk), US Amazon wont mark the parcel as gift (though the price is good, but not with +24% import&VAT taxes), J&R does not ship abroad... ;(- rmask

Ety "mushroom" tips - where to buy?
Bump. Anyone? Or are there any other similar tips? The foam ones also offer quite good isolation, but I doubt they will last very long... PS. The included tips are really low quality. One mushroom has already started disintegrating (I've purchased the headphones only 3 weeks ago, so...- rmask

Ety "mushroom" tips - where to buy?
After extensive testing, I've found that these "mushrooms" (Called Glider Tips ER23-17) suit my ears best. Now the question is where to buy them other than ety store? 14USD (for 3) + 20 USD shipping to EU is not what I consider a good deal... Thank you all!- rmask

The level of noise isolation of HiFiMan RE-ZERO vs Etymotic HF2(5)
I do need low isolation (I'd "like" some background noise for "safer" street listening) and etymotic sound ;-). Any other suggestions in the 100 eur (~135USD) bracket (only RE-Zero?) Thanks- rmask

The level of noise isolation of HiFiMan RE-ZERO vs Etymotic HF2(5)
Thanks ClieOS ! I can also get the panasonic RP-HJE900E locally (~100eur). The build quality seems to be very good, the reviews are also good, but I'm not sure about the sound and isolation...- rmask

The level of noise isolation of HiFiMan RE-ZERO vs Etymotic HF2(5)
Thanks, seems like RE-ZERO is what I need, good, detailed reproduction with lesser noise isolation levels (although -20dB is not bad). ;-) Any other suggestions (low isolation level, up to 100 euros)? I should probably note, that I really like the etymotic sound (coupled with my J3). ...- rmask

The level of noise isolation of HiFiMan RE-ZERO vs Etymotic HF2(5)
Dear all, Can someone comment on the level of noise isolation of HiFiMan RE-ZERO vs Etymotic HF2? I need some detailed IEMs for "outdoor use" (mainly for walking) with a significantly smaller levels of isolation compared to my HF2s (way too dangerous in the street w. music playing...- rmask

Cowon J3 Impressions Thread
@cRodz Yes it is the same plug. I use etymotic HF2 headset and I like it a lot. Wait, you don't mean that It does not work with J3 at all? I thought 3 pin plug is compatible with 2 pin plug - you only lose microphone (and microphone button) function - I can use my HF2s w. sansa and...- rmask

Cowon J3 Impressions Thread
Can someone check if J3 has the 3 "section" headphone output? I'd like to use the microphone button (and microphone) on iphone style headset (etymotic HF2). Can someone verify if it fits? (probably it does, as HF2 works with sansa and laptop sockets, although it does not work with no name...- rmask

One more thing: what is the difference between the HF2 and HF5 (other than included microphone and volume control kit)? http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/hf2.html http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/hf5.html Weirdly the HF2s are cheaper then HF5s (in amazon)... Thanks again.- rmask

[Quick review] Auzen X-Meridian vs Hiface
