Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
That looks like an amazing spot for some AP. I have been setting up in the backyard mostly this year. Our club's remote scope is back online for the season, so I'll be doing some nice Bortle 1 sky work soon.- wotts

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I love that! I am planning a trip to Planewave later this year. Some of the guys in the village have the L series mounts (and our club has a CDK20) and know the team there well. One of them is local to me here as well and suggested we see their site.- wotts

I miss the little chitter noises Karma would make at the birds. She'd hop in a window as soon as I opened it to see what was out there.- wotts

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
That is an awesome find! I just picked up a Sky Watcher Star Adventurer GTi for doing some light duty astrophotography. My ancient Meade mount let the smoke out when I setup in late April, so I am starting to look for my next heavy duty rig.- wotts

That is quite a setup you are building. A few of the guys in the village have planewave L series mounts. Their shop is more local to me in Adrian, MI. After all of the domes and buildings I have seen, I am partial to the roll-off roof style. It takes up more space, but I think you can fit more -...- wotts

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I had to pass on the Mach 1 during the first run. My father picked it up (we both went on the waitlist) and it's now in his observatory with an Televue NP-127is. The club scope is next door. https://kasonline.org/remote-telescope.html- wotts

That is a beautiful scope! I use an old Meade ED102. The mount finally let the smoke out so I'm looking for the next upgrade. In the interim, I have been using my club's remote scope in AZ. 20" Planewave CDK and Tak FSQ-106 on a Paramount ME II. Sadly work gets in the way of good observing time.- wotts

I got my GOTL in 2012 before all the options the newer amps have. My case is different too. I admit it has not been used for a while, but Glenn and I had been diagnosing a channel issue. I still need to reflow the solder joints...- wotts
