ATH-A900 or DT770 Pro 80
Well I looked at the Cordo but it's rather pricey imo. I know that's a pretty good price for an amp but I'll wait on getting one. Also, the DT770 Pro 80 only has an 80 ohm impedence. Does that really require an amp? I can't imagine it needing one.- Volucris

Just so I don't make a new thread about it. What widely-available amp would you recommend and from where?- Volucris

ATH-A900 or DT770 Pro 80
I can get both of these at around $200 each. I am wondering which is going to give me the best results. I'm a big guy with a big noggin so it'd be nice if they fit me right. Right now I have some SR60s but they're nearly useless when in a noisy environment like a LAN party. My sources are my Zen...- Volucris

Multiple DT770 models --what to choose?
Well I was figuring the 80ohm model would be better so I could use it with my Zen. So these: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...se_Stereo.html Or are those not what I think they are? According to Beyerdynmic, there is an 80ohm DT770 Pro...- Volucris

Multiple DT770 models --what to choose?
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...d_Beyerdynamic I'm looking to upgrade from my SR60s and get something more suited for techno and Daft Punk-esque music while giving me a closed headphone experience for gaming and movies. B&H has 3 different models and I just want to know what the...- Volucris

IPod vs Zune
Well, the Ipod supports FLAC and lossless. Whereas the Zune does not. I prefer using 320kbps .mp3 files on portable mp3 players myself. So then the comparison comes to the rest of the player in which I prefer the Zune at that time.- Volucris

So I take it that not having discrete DACs is bad? Lets say I won't get my new HDD now and will up the sound card budget to about $180. I'm starting college soon(full ride scholarship) and will need something nice sounding to keep me going through Zoology papers. How about the HT Omega...- Volucris

Yay or Nay? I plan on doing heavy music listening with high quality rips and CDs. I game some but not a lot. I will use this card in conjunction with a pair of Grado SR60 headphones and Windows XP. For $80, is this a good card? Are there any recommendations for cards better than this...- Volucris
