Soft highs and good impact are possible for a 150$ IEM?
Ok, I searched for those iems and I'm still confused. fx500 and s4 are no good for me because people says they got good bass but a they are bit harsh on highs. I dont like turbines because they got subwoofer bass and I dont like it. I was gonna wait and save up for a klipsch x5 but than...- TSuBaSa

Soft highs and good impact are possible for a 150$ IEM?
Hi, I got a Senn HD580 with HD650 cable and HD600 grills. Highs were a little bit harsh but than I bought HD650 cable and it helped a lot. But now I cant listen music in home and I'm travelling a lot. So... I'm planning to use iphone or nokia N series or 5800 XpressMusic with that IEM (no...- TSuBaSa

The Sennheiser HD580 Impressions Thread
I got a hd650 cable and hd600 grills for my hd580 and yes cable makes some changes... I think the sound is tamed a bit. Bass is a bit more controlled and the best news is highs are smoohter. Standart hd580 sound just a little bit harsh to my ears. But now I'm happy. By the way grills makes no...- TSuBaSa

COmpletely UNamped.... The HD555 vs. HD595 vs. HD580 how do they compare??
with an ipod or iriver t10 you can get enough volume from hd580s. But highs are a bit harsh but overall its still better than hd555- TSuBaSa

Mini³ Opinions?
gain of 2 or 3 is just fine for a grado. it has a really punchy bass. a grado ccould do a lot better on bass departmen- TSuBaSa

Should I get an amp for clix2+ER-4S?
If you dont bypass the tiny little cheap amp of your dap than there is no point for getting an amp. Especially for iems...- TSuBaSa

with any dap you can get a good volume but terrible highs, no mids, stupid mid bass hump... with my mini^3 its much better. But I'm pretty sure a 500$+ tube or SS amp could do much better... So its easy to drive but no its not easy to get a good sound.- TSuBaSa
