    HiFiMan Susvara

Not the best DAC and amp synergy in that case. Yggdrasil is definitely a lot more forgiving of sibilance than the hyper incisive TT2 though so any sibilance will show up from Susvara in that case

    HiFiMan Susvara

Amp limitation and DAC limitation or poor synergy. Susvara on an well curated system has no glaring faults even if you put some poorly mastered pop tracks to it

SET have no strict damping factor rules, but XLR would be the best jack one for DCA cans as they're low in impedance and low in sensitivity

I think going first to maximizing the WA23 with the Taks or even Linlai Elite 2A3s best specced would be a good start before going all out on the WDSig with WDNet. Even just switching 2A3tubes can massively change the overall balance from dark to neutral perfect with additional gains in...

Yep. This supports my opinion that you have to invest A LOT to get better filtering/regen performance, and with super clean power grind, the differences between no conditioning and a very good regen would be less than when coming from a dirtier source

No power conditioning to me. They have a negative effect on my system UNLESS you have lots of ac noise and voltage variation to your system and with that you’d have to invest A LOT to make your system sound as good as the one from a clean and stable power source without conditioning

That metalwork on the Artha looks great! Is there a quite noticeable difference in sound from regular Artha?

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

Thanks! Album cover itself is an Yggdrasil tree as well perfectly suited for Schiit Yggdrasil! One of my favorite albums to get lost into music during late night sessions

Me as well. The OS on tubes sometimes sounded too diffused and airy while NOS brings the balance back to perfection in my experience
