Hi all, Somewhat odd question I suppose. I have an NAD3566BEE receiver and find that the supplied remote control does not give me fine level of volume control I desire. The receiver is capable of fine volume control directly, just not via the remote. I welcome any advice! TIA

Thanks gerelmx,   That's a good point. Even so, I was hoping that Sony could implement a firmware update or similar that would log tracks listened to, and/or incorporate a Last.FM scrobbler into MediaGo. That way, at the very least, you could scrobble indirectly through your computer...

Here's a random question: Is there are way to have the NWZA17 scrobble to Last.FM? I've looked into Zenses2 and QTScrobbler, but I'm not particularly tech-savy when it comes to these things.   TIA

Just re-visiting this old thread.   I recently took my first steps into computer Hi-Fi with the purchase of a 2TB Vortexbox and a Squeezebox touch. So far, I have ripped about 20% of my CDs to FLAC (automatically handled by the Vortexbox for the most part) and am enjoying what the Squeezebox...

Please bring back ATRAC! Or at least give the Japanese units an option for English menus.

I noticed the new "Western" Sony DAPs support AAC. Pardon my ignorance, but does this suggest that gapless playback might work on the new Sonys if you encode in AAC - or is gapless a hardware issue rather than an encoding issue? Thanks!

Thanks edstrelow, I should have looked at J&R earlier. It reminded me that companies like Sangean make pretty decent portable radios. I've emailed them to see whether their units will tune to the frequency I want. Cheers!
