I am using an Oppo HA-1 and have been very happy with the results. I have a balanced cable being made and should have it in a week or so.

Sound quality has been fantastic. I run a AQ Carbon cable from my laptop and also upgraded the power cord to a Pangea 14SE MKII. I have no regrets with my choice of the HA-1.

My Elears are coming in tomorrow and I will be running them through an HA-1. I have also ordered a balanced cable for them also. There seems to be to kind of people on here, ones that love the HA-1 and ones that don't. Personally I could not be happier with it, I think it will be a great match...

I just ordered a cable for my Elears that are due in this week. He was very fast to respond to my questions and my build choices. Definitely running his business like true professional. 2-3 week build time, you can't beat that.

When I bought my HA-1, I bought the Pangea and the AQ Carbon USB cable at the same time. The unit never had the stock power cable attached to it, so I have nothing to compare it to. What I do know is that is sounds really really good!!:grinning:

Well that looks like it would be a fun project. Unfortunately my plate is always full. I bought a Pangea Audio AC 14SE MKII Signature cable, and I have been very happy with it. Build quality is very nice and it did not break the bank.

Mine after awhile would run pretty warm also. I took my laptop cool deck and stuck it under it and pushed the amp hard for two hours and the case was cool as can be. There was was no sound change that I could distinguish.

Well I am sold on purchasing a set in the near future. Has anyone listened to the Elear through an Oppo HA-1 set up?? Maybe with an after market balanced 4-pin xlr?? Would be very curious in your thoughts of that combo.
