I have upgraded to the U1. Not a huge difference really. I tried USB , Coax and AES. Usb was very good but ended up sticking with AES from U1 to Yggy.

Used for one week. These are not broken in yet. I purchased on vacation because I forgot to pack my HD800's . I purchased them because I have had two pairs previously and know how good they are. Free ground shipping and PayPal fees included. Cont. US only.

I can tell you I am extremely happy with the Lumin U1 mini feeding Yggdrasil . Can't speak to the other brands as I haven't heard them.

I love Radio Paradise. Sound quality in Flac is outstanding.

I was going to move on from my Freya s (which I love) to a freya +. Now you have me questioning that move.

If I use the Quboz app directly with my Mac I constantly have buffering issues with a lots of material. However when I use Quboz through Audirvana it performs and sounds fantastic. This didn't use to be the case with Quboz so something has changed.

I had a pair of HD800 a couple of years ago. Loved them but wanted to try something new. Sold them and bought the Clears. I just never warmed up to the clears. I felt they werent in the same league. So I sold the Clears and now have HD800S. I am very happy again. Just my experience...

I am using the Asgard 3 with a multibit card with mine and am very happy.

I have the C3 cable with my HD800S. I really like it and have bought from them previously. Also, Chris the owner is a great guy to deal with.

I have had a bunch of USB Cables and I really like the carbon. If you want to go a cheaper route for a nice sounding cable check out the Pangea SE. Audio Advisor is one of the dealers.

I have a Freya S and absolutely thrilled with it. Transparent and does what it's suppose to.

I was fine at 70 to 80 db but anything above that I was lacking.

I had a pair of Aegir running my 88db sensitivity Salk Song 3's and absolutely loved the sound but definitely felt I needed more power.
