Meet the Sennheiser HD 820
What i meant is that the HD800 is the benchmark. No headphones that cost less than HD800 will satisfy true audiophiles, and i have tried headphones that cost more than the HD800 that didn't sound as good. When i listen to them i reach audio nirvana, yeha it's also personal taste but they...- pearljam50000

I'm wondering is there a "poor man's" version of it in headphones that cost much less, looking for neutral detailed sound, good instrument separation, generally flat headphone, i guess the DT880 will be the most recommended...- pearljam50000

Sennheiser HD800S Unveiled!
Well yes, but still, after trying a ton of speakers and headphones, you can know Intuitively what has the most realism, you can know when a violin sounds like a violin in real life, and not like a Cello , like it does on other headphones. So to me, they are the closest to the real thing. It's...- pearljam50000

Sennheiser HD800S Unveiled!

Many people like this type of...- pearljam50000
