I have a similar problem with my SR-X Mk III/SRD-7; but on a much smaller scale. I am not sure if it's the earspeakers or the Driver; but I think it would be corrected with a driver that has separate volume control on each channel. I've been looking at a SRM-313. Does anyone know how it compares...

I guess the most basic question (and believe me my knowledge on the subject is as basic as it gets) is 'Would the 313 be expected to be an upgrade in SQ or at least as good as the SRD-7/N22 combination?" I thank you for your patience.
