[ REVIEW / COMPARISON ] Two Flagships Pass in the Night: Sony XBA-4 Review VS the MDR-EX1000 [Updated with 7550 and XBA-40!]
This is a fantastic review I waited for a very long time! Being a sony fan for many years, I got the xba4 pretty early. At first the sound is pretty bad to my ears, very disappointed. However, after some time, the sound improved and in such a unique way different from most earphones I have. I...- microsound

V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
Just tried the LP2, bass heavy headphones indeed. But other than that, not impressed. Hope the M100 can present more details and more tremble.- microsound

Which route to go - portable headphones or custom IEMs?
Great to see that most of us like IEMs more for portable use. I like the dt1350 for the sound and they look beautiful alone. But due to their deep barrels, I just found myself look stupid wearing them and definitely would not use these in public situations. the hd25s have shallower barrels and...- microsound

Suggestion on Headphones for Father's Day!
buy from a reputable private seller on the forum or ebay, amazon, ask if they can claim as gift for certain amount to avoid your import tax. It sounds like cheating on the system but all other people are doing this.- microsound

Which route to go - portable headphones or custom IEMs?
For portable solutions, which system provide better sound quality and portability? both factors considered. I recently compared DT1350 and JH13 with cowon - ibasso T3. My feeling is that JH13 provides better sound quality, more portable and lower-profile in public. For music on the go, I...- microsound

Sony XBA4 VS Westone 4R for suggestions
Crap! I actually got a pair of xba4 and they sound NOT GOOD, worse than my TF10. Yes, very very dark and bass heavy, lacks highs and mids. Not very detailed. way less efficient than tf10. How could this be, I wish to had gotten the ex1000.- microsound

Rockit Sounds R-50 Reviews and Impressions
Quote: I know it is not a fair comparison against much more expensive IEMs. But R20 is just way worse than tf10 and a couple of other IEMs I have. The R50 is probably much better, however, I would not invest that much to try.- microsound

Sony XB700 with Z 1060 Wow!!
Just had a chance to audition this combo in Sony store of Vegas forum shop. I would say they really surprised me. The sound is superb almost in any categories. Even though the XB phones are naturally bass focused, I must say here is some serious bass I have ever heard, which goes deep and...- microsound
